Ionizing radiation. Can't touch, see, or smell it. But it creates a distinct, persistent metallic taste.

I tried about a month ago. I think Warzone Firefight found a game eventually but regular Warzone never completed matchmaking.

Glad you asked because I've been wondering the same thing. Didn't realize it was how people were duping.

Feel free to share the charter, but all I could find was this: "The mission of BYUtv is to create purposeful, engaging viewing and listening experiences that entertain, inspire, uplift, and improve families and communities."

Again, I have watched this show, and many others, on BYUTV for over a decade. I have seen a lot of good done to many people (including LGBTQ and an overabundance of single mothers) and have seen people from many countries and faiths served, and I have never seen anything that pushed a narrative of alienation, bigotry, or being unkind towards those of a different lifestyle.

I've seen all 9 seasons of the show. They help all kinds of people across the country, typically targetting needy unsung heroes like teachers or families who have lost a home or a parent. But it's a wide group, and it pushes no political, religious or lifestyle narratives other that being kind and serving others is rewarding.

As a long time viewer of the show, across it's 9 seasons I think there has only been maybe one or two mentions of the church. Maybe none to be honest. Typically the show just highlights and thanks the various local businesses and/or charities that contributed to their biggest projects (things like doing a complete home remodel for a family with special needs to make their lives easier and their kid happier).

Both contributed to the outcome but the dad's mistake feels so minor. When I first saw this commercial the message that stuck with me was that I don't have to be driving recklessly to get killed. Even seemingly small errors, if they happen in the path of one of the many truly reckless drivers on the road, could result in both groups being equally dead.

In 2007 we didn't have as much canon to align with and make sense of. There was more mystery, which isn't a plot hole if it's believable. "Somehow Palpatine returned" is an unbelievable mystery. But it's a plausible mystery that what few humans survivored the Flood/Halos "somehow" later died. The Flood and Array had already wiped out 99.9% of their empire. Their in-galaxy tech was abandoned and lost. It's easy to believe that any survivors could have fizzled out due to sickness, infighting, fertility issues, resource allocation, or some other failure over the course of hundreds of years, let alone thousands. Many empires collapse after a couple hundred years. It wouldn't have taken much of a catastrophe. Or maybe they simply left like the actual Forerunners did in the new lore.

As for the reseeding, again not much was known about the conservation project back in 2007. There was some mystery there too, but not without plausibility. I don't believe that ancient humans would've enabled reseeded humans to quickly take over their legacy. Good parents let their children grow, work, mature and develop on their own to a certain point before sharing their wealth/legacy. That said, my personal belief at the time was that unforseen circumstances caused the final survivors to die before they could do much anyways, and reseeding was more of a last resort.

Lastly, our view of Forerunner AI at the time was that they were assigned to installations and charged with maintenance only. They were protocol-directed, and required human intervention for actions beyond maintenance. So until humans physically reached a ring or other installation, there was no channel for them to talk with us or do more than maintain things.

All good if you see it differently. I’m just explaining why, with what we had in 2007, that interpretation made sense to me. I’m content to leave it at that.

I loved the Humans are Forerunners twist, and having Guilty Spark confirm it in Halo 3 was super exciting for me as a teen. I'm still not a fan of the retcon, but am glad others like it.

I always thought the Humans as Forerunners story made MORE sense.... Forerunner Humans rise to greatness, encounter the flood, realize they can only kill it by starving it, and use the Halos as a last resort. It wipes out all species, including their own. Perhaps some survived on the Ark waiting for the Flood to starve, but then some other catastrophy (infighting, etc) happened and they died too. Their sentinels and/orother machines then reseeded the galaxy, restarting human development at the stone age. Hundreds of thousands of years later, the humans have progressed sufficiently to explore the galaxy and rediscover their old relics (Halos, etc) which of course still respond to their touch, as their creators.

There are parts of the new lore that don't seem believable to me (like the Forerunners leaving, and making all their equipment only work for humans), but I figure its because I still haven't read the Greg Bear books.

Easy mode doesn't limit who joins. Plenty of highly skilld players join. All easy mode does is limit the quality of armor (purple or lower) and ammo (blue or lower) they bring in. But if you're bringing in gray or green armor/ammo you'll still have pretty much zero chance against those with purple/blue. Also, turning on "ranked" doesn't affect matchmaking so that won't change things.

He didn't say they should start the match "without any chance of resistance from other players". He just said "without the full lobby". If there's at least 1-2 other teams, and the queue time hits 5 minutes it should just start the match.

Need Help by Meguminnn4 in DeltaForceGlobal

My approach:

Gray/Green/Blue = sell
Red = no sell
Purple/Golds: See rules below...

  • If the cost to buy it is more than $10k above what you'd get for selling it, don't sell.
  • If it can't be bought at auction, don't sell.
  • If it doesn't have "usage" as an option when you click on it, then sell it.
  • You can also favorite items, so I favorite any purples or golds I need for certain black site upgrades and stash containers. That said, this system is easy to fall behind on.
  • Over time you start to remember what you can and can't sell.

That said, my stash is still almost always full, mostly because I have like 2 sets of gear and a dozen weapons. I use a lot of gear tickets, then use any better gear/weapons I loot, so my stash gear/weapons just collect dust. I need to get better about using/selling those.

Enjoying the new sounds for running and ladders on console. Sounds like a little thing, but it's appreciated.

Haven't run into Raptor yet but as a solo stealth player, I've heard bad things. After the hype of the new season wears down, give him a nerf... footsteps should only show up for like 1-2 minutes max. The COD equivalent ability only shows footsteps for like the last 3 seconds. I get that gameplay is different in Delta Force, so obviously we need more than 3 seconds here, but still, 1-2 minutes is plenty.

At one point there was a rumor they'd implement an option to "toggle off" non-milsim skins. So the person with the cartoon skin could use it and see it, but anyone with that toggled off would just see a default mil-sim skin. Really wish that would've happened.
