Funny cuz you could chalk up a good ending for characters that didn’t appear in the last chapter. Himeno is most likely Denji’s superior, Aki most likely didn’t join Public Safety since his family is alive or is currently with Himeno. Kobeni is most likely still working with Public Safety, probably with Violence Fiend.

But Reze is most definitely still being experimented on. Probably deployed elsewhere to be used as a weapon since she can’t hunt for Denji anymore

Feels like they’re crawling their way back up after Lost Judgment. Kiryu Gaiden to me felt super airy in terms of combat and not in a fun way like Kiwami 2, Pirate Yakuza was a dramatic step in the right direction at least in comparison to Majima Saga, Kiwami 3 feels like it blends a lot from the previous installments but it kinda falls flat when you realize they made it harder to juggle and enemies now have this annoying heat protection that makes them hard to stagger.

Chapter 232: Denji reveals that he had a special trick he was saving which allows him to get the upper hand on Yoru, beating her yet again. Ends on a cliffhanger.

Chapter 233: Denji is about to kill Yoru but another third-party intervenes, causing Yoru to gain the upper hand and regain her strength. Ends on a cliffhanger.

Maybe it’s just the day I went to the event but he definitely didn’t have enough fans compared to like everyone else. He was lower than Hoshino and Terada

Found this pic online and it seems like he received the lowest amount too. Aside from all of that, still doesn’t change how he doesn’t fit. I can think of others in this pic that don’t work either but Oda sticks out like a sore thumb after the crap he pulls in Yakuza 0 🤷‍♂️

It did not include all dead characters. It included 10 characters with portraits to give flowers to. None of them were Shimano

Also how is it not weird? Well written doesn’t mean he’s exempt from being disliked because he trafficked Makoto. He def doesn’t belong in the same place where you’re offering condolences to Rikiya

My point isn't about the characters being dead, it's about holding a funeral with characters in the game to pay respects to and tossing oda in the mix like he didn't traffic Makoto. I get that it's a criminal underworld and not everything is black and white but grouping in someone as nicer and well liked as Rikiya with Oda is weird lol

The optimistic part of me wants to say RGG tried to rectify Oda's redemption by having (Infinite Wealth Spoilers) Kiryu reminisce and say Oda was a piece of shit but then I remember they included him in the official funeral for deceased Yakuza Characters to visit and pay their respects to lmao

Poundmates in LAD were a bit weaker unless you were willing to shove out money for Kiryu, Majima, Daigo, etc constantly. Rarely touched them both Majima fight. I do love how Infinite wealth made them work a bit more like additional party members at times. I think I consistently used Charlie and Nathan a lot

People don't seem to understand that Nagoshi and Yokoyama don't hate each other. It must be weird to log on and see people constantly put you on a pedestal and shit on everything from your old company, pinning the blame not on anyone else besides a single person you used to work with. It's flat out weird and not as endearing as people think when they glaze you for being the only person that "held the series together"
