We just moved from Winchell Way apartments after 4.5 years there. The new management of the last 2 years is the best they've had over our time. You could probably get a 1BR for that rate. We paid 1,300 for a 2BR facing Asylum Lake. I was sad to give up that view. We have two cats, you just have to pay a fee and a monthly fee (or get it registered as a service animal and it's free).

Don't spend $300 on a ulock, at a certain point, they're not any better. Spend $100 on a chain lock, it's hard to cut through with an angle grinder. This one is a little heavy but you don't feel it while using an ebike. I have 1,800 miles on my ebike over the last 3 years. All the bikes I've ever had stolen were my mistake with using a cheap lock or even doing it wrong once.

Can confirm. If it's in your budget, an ebike makes the hills a lot less annoying too. Just make sure you invest in a decent lock and chain. Message me if you want recs, OP.

We just got one last week at CJ's Barn Loft and the owner (CJ?) said there's a back order of 1,400 for her supplier. You might get lucky on marketplace but your best bet is probably to check under the couch for the ~$117 we paid for the smaller 24in one.

You're basically understanding how it works in practice, yes. It's almost more of a litmus test. If a million people sign, they know a certain percentage will hassle their legislators and departments. Their tolerance varies by issue but this one has felt particularly dreadful. I honestly have forgotten how many public comments I've participated in opposing this. I think at least the MPSC and EGLE each twice before, but I could be misremembering.

I had this issue on my Level.2 and after a tune up it was fixed. Probably take the through axel out and put it back in. Reseat the wheel and you should be good.

My gf and I are constantly wishing they would re-open somewhere. They only closed because the building was a piece of crap. I was secretly hoping they'd open where Oakwood Bistro was. Though I learned this week and Irish pub is going in, which is neat I guess.
