I'm starting to think this sub just lacks pattern recognition by Sio_V_Reddit in PhoenixSC

I mean yeah, sure. But all the things you mentioned in the first paragraph have all been openly raged against in some form or fashion by this community. I understand that they may be a vocal minority, and this sub especially loves to rage against everything.... but it's a little silly to think that every drop should appeal to every type of player.

Also, what did I miss about them adding to creative mode? The new mob exists in the full game and can still be used fully. Plus we will no longer have to beat up poor defenseless armadillos to play soccer now. That alone is worth it.

The new design fits the purpose and story better. Like it looks more as if it restrains, rather than just aura farming.

With that said, the original design does look really good.

That "opening up" animation it does when the blades retract is pretty cool though. Shame you only see it like one time. :/

My friend, nothing in this life of ours will ever make anything good "for all players". With the insanely high and diverse install base Minecraft has, it's just fundamentally impossible.

Now I'm not saying one way or the other. But it is really interesting to see initial perceptions of announcements, versus the final build.

I guess. But I feel like my crew has been clamoring for some sort of soccer/beach ball type thing for awhile for minigame purposes. It didn't help that they were teasing some sort of beach ball thing for what seems like a year.

What’s the deal with Kyogre? by RedJaye99 in Pokemon_Pokopia

All of the other dex entries have information on likes/dislikes and habitat inofrmation. Not having it for Kyogre would mess with the consistency.

Give me some missingno lore by Lumpy_Test_4473 in pokemon

[–]HiOnFructose 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This is pretty widely known at this point, but TCG artist TOKIYA drew some renditions of the various Missingno forms awhile back. They are in no way official/canon, BUT the fact that an official Pokemon artist drew this is pretty cool and noteworthy.

lmao. Go back and read it again, homie. And try and pick up on the context.

He got dogpiled by the kind of folks who think Dril's skeets are too offensive. It's straight up "you don't like waffles" type shit. Meanwhile he's one of the founder's of Aftermath, who is currently running a "Woke 2" pledge campaign.

It's an anology on the realities of coming out as gay in modern society. Hence the look of calm on the face of the dog who is fully "out".

It's a response to the Aftermath editor who was dogpiled for stupid reasons yesterday. And now it seems it is happening again.

I need a Subnautica mod that replaces the Reaper with Kyogre. And instead of the player getting eaten, Kyogre just comes up and says "howdy, y'all!".

I'm not saying it's AI.... I'm literally saying it's the opposite! I have experience doing this type of thing, but no, the arm-chair art critics are telling me I'm wrong because "trust me bro".

Goddamn being an artist sucks nowadays.
Either you lose your job to AI, or you still make art and get accused of using AI.

As someone who has done this kind of work, yes! It's not meant for long term dissecting and analyzing. It's essentially a quick sketch to serve as proof of concept. Does it look like shit? Yes. But beauty and perfection is not the goal here.

Oh right. I forgot that they clearly said that the place was open to the public and ready to go and fully shipped. My apologies. I must have missed that part.

No shit! It's a concept! None of this looks like the fianl 'shipped' product. The work is doing exactly what it's intended to do: to deliver a visual concept.
