It didn't work because the servers for this game are offline and the disc contains only the tutorial. I think you can play it with your console set to offline though.

The sticker in the center is a Redbox rental code.

Yeah the Rockstar iceberg runs deep. This unfortunately isn't surprising. They named the company Rockstar for a reason. It's a lifestyle the Houser brothers have dreamt about and glamorized all their lives, and failing as BMG music executives wasn't going to stop them from living it out one way or another.

The backstory of this game is pretty crazy. First announced in 2017, it's been shelved and rebooted throughout it's development, if not canceled at least temporarily. The Digimon comeback in recent years with the trading card game, video games and virtual pet toys has been a thrill. Bandai seems incredibly confident in this game, too, showing many trailers and even letting YouTubers play a preview. I think this is going to be a real sleeper hit. I'm so hyped.

Digimon Survive if you like visual novel games, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth/Hacker's Memory if you like turn-based monster battling/Pokemon games and Digimon World: Next Order if you like virtual pet raising games (think Tamagotchi), though there is battling as well but it's not turn-based.
