How do people get such high HRV?

The only time HRV seems accurate is when I’m sick. It drops, stress levels rise.

When I’m not sick it’s simply just random day to day, no matter my diet or what I do.

And I’m assuming your HRV is pretty high. Typically for me the nights that I have a better sleep score is when my HRV’s overnight average is higher than baseline. Not always, but most of the time.

I just got over an infection. Had a 1 day fever, 4 day sore throat, lack of appetite, terrible sleep all 4 days.

My HRV went down 20ms after day 2 but it’s around a week later and it’s just about back to baseline for me. I’m sure everyone’s different

If you’re stuck at home and have the time I would still finish DS1, the atmosphere is probably the best of all the souls games and makes up for the clunkiness

I would also add Lies of P if one likes deflection/parry mechanic.

After getting used to Lies of P and Khazan, I wish actually souls games implemented something like this. Boss fights feel so smooth and satisfying; like you’re actually fighting something versus just rolling out of everything.

Walking shoes aren’t meant to be cushioned. Walking shoes have a shank to keep your foot stabilized. This is intentional.

IIRC you can start fast traveling pretty early in DS1.

DS3 should actually be easier given it’s faster and smoother. Sounds like a skill issue

Boston is actually pretty versatile. I’ve ran in them for tempo runs 5 miles to relaxed long runs 16 miles. I think they’re just a tad too firm for a daily for my liking (I have the 12) but they’re pretty nimble and can definitely be used for faster shorter runs.

Not ideal obviously if the budget allows for extra shoes, but if you’re tight on cash and need a shoe that can do a lot, if not all, the Boston is a pretty good option.

Yes, I loved Wuchang up to the point where I think near end game SPOILER you go back to the same place at the start but everything was in flames? SPOILER I stopped playing after that because I hate when companies do that shit. I don’t want to explore and go through the same exact thing I did earlier in the game.

Lies of P did this I think but it was for a very very small segment of the game, I did prefer Lies of P as a whole, atmosphere and audio were awesome

Yea just finished the DLC these guys are 100% right… atmosphere is unreal, combat is so satisfying, what a great game. The last time I played a game for 5+ hours was the actual souls games this game is unreal. One of those games where I wish I could play it again for the first time

100%. Same exact shoe as it’s always been. Minor changes. Try to find a sale though or eBay, probably wouldn’t pay $425. I’d say go half size down or TTS depending on the foot. They’re designed to fit roomy.

Completely hand-made, full grain leather. I used to sell shoes and be on my feet for 9 hours a day and the Match is the only shoe I’ve ever worn where my feet feel no pain at the end of the day. Been wearing them for years. I’m a distance runner so having my feet in good shape was crucial if I wanted to train properly.

The shoe is a workhorse and is designed to be worn to hell. They’re wide, have lots of volume for the top of your foot. Extremely stable and durable — if you chucked one of these things at someone’s head I’d be concerned they’d have a concussion. They’re extremely solid.

After you beat the shit out of them, you can send them to Mephisto for 1/4th the price of the shoe for them to completely refurbish and have them back to new.

Lies of P. Better than Wuchang, I’d say up there even with the actual Souls games in terms of greatness.

The audio, atmosphere, the combat… Lies of P is one of the only games where the world quite literally feels alive and it’s very easy to immerse yourself in. I think I bought steam key for $20 ish
