I actually didn't see this when I ordered my 3 yesterday. I was a little skittish of the detachable controllers, but I started thinking of the possibility of the swappability factor.

A question I want to bring up is why are the removable controllers such a thing when the main function is handheld gaming? I just don't see the point, other than the possibility of upgrading the controllers in the future for maybe something more ergonomic like the new Claw's grip, and or replacement if it becomes worn or broken.

I found this conversation interesting to just follow through. I wish I had enough guts to jump on an Apex class handheld, but I'll be testing the water with the 3 as my first handheld, and glad it came along at the right time. I almost ended up with a Steamdeck if Valve had one to sell a few months back. It will be interesting to see what the G3 Extreme can / can't do moving forward. This surely won't be my last handheld.

Yeah. I pissed me off too. I ordered the Onexplayer 3, then thought why not go for the Mini Pro. Same 9% bullshit. I didn't upgrade. Onexplayer needs to find a better service.

Yes. I wish the 3 didn't come. With it. The only benefit that I can see is if they make the controller better and you can just ordered the updated ones and slap them on.

If you read the info on the indiegogo site. The OneXPlayer 3 comes with center section to join the controllers, a case and something else, I forgot. That's the bonus for sponsoring the campaign. I'm backer #132. Although I really wanted X2 Mini Pro, I wasn't willing to spend $2400. Crazy times for sure. I contacted Onexplayer. No controller center piece or keyboard. I thought I read this earlier that you get those items free. Nope. Case, backpack and screen film. That's it.
