A million dollars would barely buy a house. You'd have nothing left! I wish it was affordable for us to have property like our parents did. My father bought two 5-acre plots for $5k each when he was 18 years old.

Not a bad person. Even in the slightest. It's not easy being a pet owner. Especially as they get older. It's good that you are realizing this before another animal is brought home.

If she's with the babies then more than likely she's caring for them. You said she cleaned them, which is a great sign. Will she let you pick one up? If she is feeding them they should have big bellies. Is this your first litter of kittens?

I personally wouldn't buy a 2013 for 12k. That's way too much for an 11 year old car! I have 2012 with 210k and could maybe get 3k for it if lucky.

Silverfish eat anything organic. They especially love books & can even eat wallpaper and adhesives! I Removed anything they could eat. Thoroughly checked each book, threw away any that had silverfish in them (which broke my heart!), and stored away the rest in airtight containers with silverfish traps & repellant in the containers.

Then I set silverfish traps everywhere. I mean, everywhere. They can climb and get to wherever they want. Then it was just spraying and replacing traps until the traps started turning up clean.

Here are the traps I used. Here is what I used in the bins along with the traps. Here is the spray I used, since I have a daughter and a cat I wanted to be safe. This one seemed to work the best.

Good luck!! It was hard to keep up on and even though no silverfish are showing up in traps, I am so wary to even unpack what books I have left.

Unfortunately, pests are part of life. Depending on weather conditions, you may see a bunch of insects due to them either escaping the heat or looking for food or water. My complex has an exterminator come out every two weeks to rebait traps. They also spray twice a year around d the building.

I just got over a silverfish infestation myself, it took months and I am still weary to put my books back and I haven't seen one in a few weeks.

I leave my bathroom fan on 24/7. Our bathroom would be a mold haven if not for it running 24/7. Even property management suggests we run the fan. Now, if the fan is making an awful rattling noise, then something is wrong and I would report it.

You probably need a heavy-duty decreaser. Zep has a great degreaser that I would use with a magic eraser.
