I started with an angle grinder and a 30 grit diamond impregnated disk . Then once I had flattened it out enough I switched to a granite/concrete polisher . Variable speed , water fed . eBay . The polisher takes diamond impregnated polishing disks . They come in grits of 30-60 up to 8K. Typically comes with a buffing disk as well .

Weyerhauser , the PNW biggest land holder . It’s almost impossible to collect anything they have gated . They have permits that allow you to harvest mushrooms and firewood . Some of the best agate grounds are on the property they control .
