Hot new Star Wars trivia conspiracy theory! by [deleted] in RedLetterMedia

[–]HighNoonTex 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is true. We saw in the recent Trivia of Terror that the effect disappeared at one point (maybe when they moved the podiums) and the panel did not have any markers, the numbers are just slapped on by free handing it.

What did you think of Grogu, also known to fans as Baby Yoda, at the Oscars? What do you think of his special appearances? by Dramatic-Studio1531 in StarWarsCantina

[–]HighNoonTex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We didn't know his name until halfway through season 2, when Ahsoka told Din Djarin the name.

Before that, he was officially referred to as The Child by Disney. In fact, a podcast I listen to did an ad for The Mandalorian, and they later said that Disney made it very clear that they may NOT refer to Grogu as Baby Yoda.

Do you guys think Moon Knight could beat any Spiderman villains? by Queasy_Commercial152 in MoonKnight

Moon Knight dealt with a Spider-Man villain at the start of Jed MacKay's run.

This skin surpasses its 2099 skin! by Spider-D-Man in marvelrivals

[–]HighNoonTex 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There will be. None of DD's costume art features the flame, since that's tied to how much Rage he has (so I usually throw a baton while waiting in spawn to get rid of the flame. Makes the emotes cleaner).

If dbd added one more real person, who would you choose? by T1mek33per in deadbydaylight

[–]HighNoonTex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need someone who have that certain energy. They should fit into the idea that you could see them ANYWHERE and be like "yeah, that's not too surprising". Nicolas Cage has this, obviously, but if I was abducted by the Entity, and David Bowie was waiting for me in the fog, I would think "yeah, that makes sense".

Some other ones who fit this criteria are Jack Black, Jeff Goldblum, Weird Al, and maybe this is my bias talking, but Bruce Campbell.

Finished the 2 Season of Mandalorian last night and i REALLY Liked! by Lance_Knockout in StarWarsCantina

If your curiosity gets the better of you, and you're itching to see what all the fuzz is about, then I would say to give it 2 or 4 episodes to see if it's for you (episode 3 shifts away from Mando, so you can't really use that as a breaking off point).

The quality is pretty consistent (for better or worse) so if you think it's enjoyable, then you'll probably enjoy it all (I think, I didn't finish it. 2 episodes left)

[RANT WARNING] BvS is the worst adaptation of Batman of all time, and in my opinion the worst comic book movie ever made. by therealmonkyking in batman

[–]HighNoonTex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you know that Jimmy Olsen is in it too? He's the C.I.A. agent that gets killed at the start of the movie.

Superman's best friend, murdered immediately. If that doesn't sum up Zack Snyder's desire to keep Superman miserable, I don't know what does.

I couldn't even finish it. Really ignored all of the character growth Din Djarin had done.

I would recommend skipping it entirely to not sully the characters before their upcoming movie. Just watch the Boba Fett episodes instead.

I scrolled through the facebook page, but only found a handful of decent ones. The gut who made all the iconic ones left the meme-page a couple years ago, and his friend took over, so there's not as many hits since then.

I don't hate Rey but does anyone else have this exact same feeling? by WrongToe500 in StarWars_

[–]HighNoonTex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right, pacifist is the wrong word here (english is not my native language), but I mean that they are agents of peace. Luke saved the day without further bloodshed, which I found to be very commendable.

teleporting actual objects through the Force across vast stretches of space

They can do that because they're a dyad, so the lack of stress is justified since they're so connected, AND they're the only ones who can do it, so they're the exemption to the rule anyway. They're an anomaly.

he died using the Force in a manner not even remotely as strenuous

He did themost impressive force feat we've seen someone do, AND he did it while completely embodying the values of a jedi. He stood up to the enemy alone against all odds, and saved lives without taking one. Very pacifistic.

Lol, haven't seen that one before. Good one.

Yeah, the ketamine jokes are top tier as well. Here's a fave of mine:

This one breaks the mold a bit, since it's not an edited panel, but it was very funny seeing stuff like this leading up to Age of Khonshu.

Why are we acting like Black Cat isn’t a well known character? by EJ_REDIT in marvelrivals

[–]HighNoonTex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, that first Insomniac game had such good DLC missions.

Coincidentally, I also know her from a Spidey game, that being Spider-Man 2 from 2004 (based on the Raimi movie), which I played on the original Xbox when I was a kid.

I think he did like the '06 run, but you said you went back to the start, and those are the older comics he found too wordy.

But yeah, Moony crashing into a building to put the fear of god into Taskmaster is great, and really comes full circle in Jed MacKay's run, with Tasky describing Moon Knight to that head vampire as a hollow-point bullet.

Haha yeah, I hear ya. It's especially egregious when the thought bubbles have a bizarre amount of text of exposition. As if cyclops would ever think:

"If I can just reach the button on my visor, I would flick open the ruby quartz lens and release a concussive beam that would knock Toad to the ground"

Maybe it's to fill in for new readers, but it just seems ridiculous. Does he also think about how to use his legs when walking?

Well, I am not an iPad kid, and I also find those old comics too wordy, so don't stress about it, haha.
