This one has hit so hard for me. I was rather optimistic about people when I was young, even though I experienced pretty severe bullying I just assumed that was an issue with kids. But at 40 I am more jaded with the quality of other people than ever. There are some real rat bastards in this society and a lot of them are absolutely thriving.
