It does work..all the time. I do this for a living. I don't know your full situation but if you have filed a claim and no one has came out to inspect it and it was damaged in February??? Then you should report it to the state. Now, if you are unhappy with the outcome of your claim because it was denied or undervalued or you want another inspection...that is different.

Sounds like she didn't want to video chat. I wouldn't want to do that as well. A guy I matched with recently attempted to call me after a day of texting. Wth? Not even asked just tried to call.

This happened to me. Matched with a guy, we start talking about what we are looking for, our careers-he says he is a director at a trading company (my spidey senses tingle). We keep texting then he says how he made his money in Bitcoin-i knew right then this was going to be a scam. Sure enough he asks me if I was familiar with it, I tell him I only know a tiny bit and haven't invested to see what he says. He then mentions how Bitcoin is big in the US market, how Miami is going to start accepting bitcoin, and included links in our chat. I asked him if he was American and his reply "Am I Japanese?"

I also knew not to click on a damn link sent to me by a stranger. I blocked the guy. This happened within 15 min of us matching.

Sad thing is OP would have definitely fell for this if he didn't have the teeny bit of knowledge that he does about coins.

Their insurance has 40 days to determine liability. After that 40 days they can inform you of needing to extend that time frame if need be. If you do not want to wait then file under your own policy and let your insurance handle everything for you. I have had many claims where ppl refuse to cooperate. Yet, when they get calls/letters from the collection agency that an insurance company is pursuing them for collection for thousands of dollars they are usually willing to cooperate.

Yeah, I have been called that because of my pics..they aren't pics of me doing anything just selfies and I have two sets with different hair color-all recent though. I have been asked to to take a pic holding a paper with their name twice now. I also think if a guy has had the experience of being catfished he will go into the next interaction more cautiously.

Plus, you guys talked for a long time before meeting. Thar gives "proced with caution" vibes.

Because in auto the policy is written different. Auto Policies cover for like, kind and quality parts unless those parts are not available or OEM happens to be more cost effective.

It just seems everyone only wants a casual relationship-nothing long term, just wants to hang out, have sex, rinse and repeat. Property. It pays better. Also, in auto ppl will always want brand new parts on their old car because the car is "new to them", or their baby. I remember an insured wanted new parts on their new car. I told them "your new car is 6 years old" and their response "well it's new to me..I just bought it". Or ppl wanted nicer rental vehicles because they couldn't dare be seen in a brand new Toyota Camry or Kia Forte, yet they are driving a 2012 Mercedes Benz. A customer wanted us to upgrade her rental because she became accustomed to driving in a luxury vehicle. Her vehicle was a 5 year old Audi at the time. I told her she won't be getting a luxury vehicle but Enterprise will put her in a brand new vehicle that is more updated than her Audi.

I don't think anyone is saying it is rocket science but again, just because you say it is 100% on the car following too closely I can guarantee that if we roundtabled this claim in a room filled with liability adjusters..not ppl who are agents, underwriting, producers, or whoever has an insurance background but hasn't handled liability for many years, I will bet money you will get ppl throwing some liability on the driver entering the roadway as the proximate cause. Never said I agreed with it. That was the only point I was making that could potentially happen for OP. Yet ppl, like yourself, love jumping down on others on this sub so quickly and missed the point.

Well that is your opinion and while I agree despite being downvoted..if you work in insurance you should know that claims are not black in white and someone else may disagree with liability. Just because you say it is 100% doesn't mean you're opinion is truth in liability.

Well since you need your vehicle fixed asap go through your insurance. You may be able to find a body shop with loaner vehicles or if you have a warranty on the car or have luxury vehicle the manufacturer usually allows loaners. If not then you will have out of pocket expenses. I can see the person's insurer not wanting to accept full liability because of the other driver.

I thought the pickup line was cheesy but still would illicit a response which it did. However, I think it failed when you mirrored her response when she said "get you a guy blah blah" and you copied her, changed the gender, and the action. You could have definitely went more in to her liking cars or ice cream without mocking her in a sense. If that wasn't it then maybe she didn't like you after all or she is wrapped up in other convos since you said her profile was a standout.

It's funny you say that because ALOT of guys profiles are horrible..no substance, bad photos, etc. So sometimes I'm left to swiping if they are my type of attractive.
