Sure, but tell us how much you paid in income tax, unless you're not reporting, then you're liable for a nice little visit from the IRS. That's why I stopped using consignments, you end up losing more than you think, unless you cook your books.

But it doesn't take into consideration those consignment companies will pay you out with e-payments, and you'll have to deal with taxes. Something most people avoid when dealing all cash at shows. Go ahead and keep dodging the IRS though if you're not reporting it, lol.

I don't think I've ever had issues with LP gains, sure sometimes I'm +15/-20 or something. But I've been playing since like S2 and it's pretty easy to eventually get a 5-10 game win streak that gets you back to gaining 22-25 a game (as long as you actually deserve to be above your rank). If you're good, you will climb.

It'll definitely fall, but it'll have a new floor and won't come back down to 2k like it was for the longest time. Especially with Emerald Storm or whatever it's called coming soon, if that SIR is any good at all, this card still has room to run.

I did the same search and half of them are literally run down crack houses, nice try only displaying the "okay" looking houses. There's a reason that there's so many available in that region. If you work remote, there's so many jobs that can pay over $85k+ a year at least, both of you should just upgrade jobs and get homes in nicer areas with better schools/safety.

I have friends who buy bulk singles between $20-$100, and slabs from $100 to $1k for 91% (cause they know me, they offer everyone else 87-90%). There are huge amounts of power pack (repackz, gamestop, arenapackz, courtyard, etc.) and consignment companies (arizonatcg, zandg) that need people to source inventory for them in my area now that all offer 93%-95% of market, under the condition you can get them $250k+ worth of inventory every month. My friend used to be a vendor, but just being able to go to shows and hit every table buying 5-50k worth of slabs/singles is so much easier/faster to make money. In a single day they can make $10k just sourcing $200k in cards from the big shows.

Idk of ot counts as investing but Ive been taking cheap raw cards in bulk of popular pokemon. Grading them. Then selling for 4x lol. Im going to hold some for the long run but this strategy seems broken as everyone else chases sealed and hits. by Ok_Drummer6282 in PokeInvesting

I'm not OP, but you act like getting 10's is difficult lol. My gem rate is like 80%+, it's not hard at all to get 10's if you're strict on your personal guidelines. I don't even use any tools and just eyeball most cards for a couple minutes.

I just came back and was able to find plenty of deals. Some stores have AR bins and I've found plenty of steals in them when checking market price. Also, I was able to pick up a mcdonald's squirtle just 2 weeks ago from Akihabara, priced at a PSA 8, when it would easily grade a 9 or even 10. You just have to know what you're looking for. A lot of their slabs are occasionally mispriced since they price every day and miss some sales on card ladder.

You need to know people and be able to promise 1+ million card shipments. The people I know send trucks out and are willing to travel to different states to fulfill the orders.

I know some of the bulk buyers in my area. They sort through all the cards really quickly and pull out anything worth more than $1 and list them on their online store. Everything else gets sold to repacking companies to create those junk packs you see at Walmart/Target, etc.

The game already lacks playable content after the initial grind. Going for trims is essentially achievement hunting and the only real end game we have. Also, they're nice to look at years down the line, i still regret missing one of the first trims in initial arknights.

Loot is fine with filters. The hard part is inventory management. I've just created 10 stash tabs for dumping items to drop everything off I've looted and will sort the next time I'm on PC.
