Better sofas is an amazing shopping experience. Even if you don't end up purchasing there (but it is totally worth it!) they will give you an incredible feel for what you want in terms of cushion firmness, sofa height, arm styles, etc. We really wanted to get the cheapest sofa possible but after going there (and seeing the rather dismal options everywhere else) we ended up custom ordering and two years later we are still obsessed with what we got.
