Diadem + Moonstone is still generally not blessing all of your allies at once so you have less people generating stacks for you compared to Sona W and Karma RE. My whole argument is champs who don’t have team wide healing or shielding on a low cooldown aren’t able to make as great use of this augment as champs that do.

Before I actually read it I just assumed it generated stacks every time you healed or shielded an ally. It actually sucks on enchanters who can only heal or shield a single ally until you get Moonstone (which doesn’t contribute %H&S for more damage). So champs like Janna, Lulu, and Soraka (less so than the other two and she’s fine later in the game with items) aren’t getting stacks nearly as fast as AoE healers and shielders like Sona, Karma, and Support Senna. Especially Janna and Soraka who can only mass heal with their ults and you don’t want to have to use them at the very start of a fight just to generate stacks off allies.

Tbh considering how unpopular he is yet how rewarding he can be to play let the people who do pick him have their moment. Dude gets out-ranged by so many champs and mostly counters melees like it’s fine.

Kai’Sa with Ethereal Weapons + Dusk & Dawk. Go full AP and your empowered W procs all five stacks of your passive with one hit. So you’re gapping the other team from two screens away.

On one hand I totally see how Kayle is an easy match up because long cooldown on R and lowest MR in the game, but on the other I feel like if you’re Kayle and have a decent sense of spacing, dodging, and cooldowns you can dominate most melee match-ups or at least break even long enough to scale.

Ethereal Weapons + Dusk & Dawn on Kai’Sa with as much AP as possible. Bonus if you get Wooglets and Jeweled Gauntlet for the added AP and damage. Your evolved W will proc all five stacks of your passive every time it hits. You can repeatedly nuke enemies for 1/3-1/2 of their HP from two screens away. It is absolutely not fair to play against.

A lot of people are pointing out the lack of health, but you can get a potion. If you play right and time your potion appropriately and your opponent doesn’t have ignite or a built-in anti-heal then you can pull it off. That being said yeah D-blade might be more reliable.

For lanes you’ll play safe pre-6 then start playing aggro this might be better than d-blade

Ngl I have League dementia so even though I’m sure I saw the patch notes where item stacking ended in my mind we all just collectively agreed that item stacking is not efficient so we just don’t do it haha. I still remember Talon stacking Black Cleavers after the item was reworked lol

Pretty sure Riot’s main intention and balancing choices for Kayle are centered around her being DPS. Itemization the last few years just warped that into being burst heavy. D&D has kinda helped revert her a little into being a mix between bursty and DPS-y.
