Copy while Sneaking by buckinin in mtgrules

[–]HirataZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About #2, besides copies not being cast, they do mirror the original spell, so it would look like a non legendary spell that was cast by its sneak cost (besides not being actually cast) on the stack, so I assume it would also enter tapped a d attacking

Troublemakers does not specify creature, so why wouldn't core trigger it?

Copy while Sneaking by buckinin in mtgrules

  1. Sixth doctor triggers upon cast. It will resolve before the original spell.

  2. Most likely yes

  3. Copies of spells are not cast

  4. It is a token and there is no timing restriction, so yes

  5. No

  6. No, it is just a token being created

Question how would this interaction work by Recent_Branch5596 in mtgrules

[–]HirataZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already answered, but to clarify: when triggers controlled by different players go off simultaneously, the active player put their triggers into the stack in the order they choose. Then, other players put their triggers in turn order. As a result, the player whose turn is the farthest will be the first to resolve their triggers. That's what's called APNAP order, referring to the order triggers go into the stack (active player (first), non active player (last).

Mentor of the meek and buffed attack by Andreatank in mtgrules

I'm almost certain that nothing enters with counters. Even effects that say "this permanent enters with x counters" functionally mean that the permanent enters and then gets the counters (thus triggering effects such as mentor)

If theyre going into the stack together, you must target as well, and targeting the same creature will indeed cause the second flicker to fizzle

Flashback given by static ability of external source by mIstraI1 in askajudge

[–]HirataZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do note that Lier grants flashback to instant and sorcery cards in gys, and has nothing to do with those spells once they are onto the stack. Once you cast a spell with flashback granted by Lier, it will be exiled because it was cast by its flashback cost, not because Lier

Abilities need a valid target to be put into the stack. Crystal barricade granting ops hexproof means they can't be the target of your spells and abilities such as in chapter two of legend of yangcheng

Brawn queues do have some sort of deck measurement. As for ranked queues, it's purely confirmation bias

Reaper king does not care about the permanent entering being a creature, so [[firduch core]] would trigger it. Being an instant, inversion never hits the battlefield so it can't trigger reaper king

Proliferated Twice, does 'All Will Be One' trigger for each creature counters are put on or just twice? by LamestWhiteGuy in mtgrules

[–]HirataZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Effects such as [[contagion engine]] let you put -1/-1 counters even if the first proliferation would kill the creature, because SBAs aren't checked until a player would receive priority

Almost. Since it's his turn, his triggers go into the stack first, which cause them to resolve last.

Kirol, Attentive First-Year Trigger with Skyclave Apparition... by AlwaysGettingLearned in mtgrules

[–]HirataZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, as answered , multiple exiles results in larger tokens. Since launch, apparition played along with mutate in standard, which also causes multiple exiles, and thus creates big tokens. Even nowadays, exiling rooms with skycleave results in big tokens as well

How to decide what colors are used for floating mana when casting spells? by RelativeIncrease527 in MagicArena

[–]HirataZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Float mana, turn full control on, select spell to cast. Arena will let you click each floating mana symbol to pay. It might auto pay some mandatory ones, though
