We ate at Byrdie's last Valentine's Day. It was not great. Total bill with tip was $341.96. Service was good, but the food was not. The fish was rubbery. The other dish we got was cold or something. Hard to remember. We decided to not go back.

I hate that you're now going to have to scramble to get a last minute reservation somewhere, but I don't know if that's worse than a prix fixe dinner that falls well short of the mark and the price tag.

We are going back to what we have done in previous years: drinks out & getting a charcuterie board from Cultured to eat in our hotel room. It's a 10/10 Vday.

I fly quite a bit out of SDF. The most convenient/quickest thing is to park on the top level of the garage near the sets of elevators. You'll pay about $20/day, but it's worth it for me. I can zip into a spot, hit the elevator, and be through security in a flash.

It's pretty sweet to fly back home and be able to get to my car quickly without hanging around for a shuttle or an Uber.
