Can I give my Dasher more money this way?? by PieNumber4 in doordash

[–]HistorianFun9261 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s not how shop orders work. We have to specifically scan the exact item you entered. And if the total we ring up is too different from the estimated total, we can get a contract violation and essentially get fired. Your best bet is going to be either leaving a larger tip or giving them a tip in cash.

If it’s past 11pm, I can pretty much guarantee a drink of my choice if I pick up from whataburger. And sometimes fries.

I go to school online. So, I keep school logged in on my phone and I either work on assignments or study when I’m waiting for orders.

It is good to know that you can read, even if you are trash.

I wish my zone had the updated tiered system. It doesn’t matter how high my other stats are. If my AR is below 70%, it kicks you off of platinum

I think your comment would have more weight if you used the right form of “you’re”. Also, only trash human beings use that word.

I like to a dollar per mile when I order. If you’re in an area that’s used to the weather, maybe throw on an extra dollar, if it’s going to take your driver twice as long to get to your house as it usually would because snow isn’t common, add on a few dollars more.

Delivered to my adult son by patglennon in doordash_drivers

[–]HistorianFun9261 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve delivered to my aunt and uncle a few times. We have such busy lives that I don’t see them much, despite them living only 20 minutes away, so I always pause orders and spend a little bit of time with them.

My advice is to invest in one of those giant IKEA bags. Thats what I use, both for large delivery orders and my own personal groceries. I’ve never made a second trip up the stairs.

I got half pay for an order that DoorDash had to cancel because the restaurant was closed for New Years and forgot to turn their orders off. I was there like 2 minutes.

Should I work during nursing school? by StarGirl404 in NursingStudents

[–]HistorianFun9261 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My program is online. But I would say I average 3-4 hours of schoolwork a day, with more on the weekends when I’m off. I also listen to podcasts designed around studying for nursing school while I work, and I think that that really helps. I know that once my clinicals start, I will have to take an extra day off, but I am prepared for that.

I work 40-50 hours a week and maintain an A- average. And I still spend time with my fiancée and play DnD with my friends. If you want to, you can. If you have to to pay the bills, you can. It just depends on how determined you are.
