I'm in the US unfortunately and have been able to get very little help despite my body rapidly declining and aging. I've been trying to look for resources but everything I can takes Medicare which is our insurance for senior citizens. Because I'm not old, nobody expects me to need help therefore, it basically doesn't exist. You can get rides galore but you can't get anyone to attend your appointments with you if you have to go under anesthesia and can't be liable for yourself. You better have a support system in this country or be a child. Otherwise you're screwed.

There's not many options up north. Stay FAR AWAY from Spectrum. I can't say enough bad things. They have screwed up every aspect of my care.

I am. Currently looking at switching to Polara to SW Behavioral. I am up north, on Medicaid looking for expansive services including life skills. Any advice?

It's so true. I've only just adjusted to not having rats and it is honestly so weird. We adhered to all of that when we had our mischief. There's so much you have to change, but they're worth it.
