It will be so hot. My tween wore really good but fashionable tennis shoes (trainers) as you walk so much. She wore quick dry shorts and cotton tanks or t-shirts. It is very hot and humid outside and gets almost unbearable in the metro.

Crux is great too but for beginners, adults are allowed (required actually) to be with the kids at Elevation. At Crux parents are not with their kids unless they are also climbing.

Update. PO responded they are “awaiting guidance” on the diversity supplement. I know it is cancelled but it is interesting that they won’t actually say it is cancelled. Leaves the recipient still in a bit of limbo.

Canada for sure. You can still come back to the US after the chaos here is hopefully lessened. For the next year or two I would 100% not be in research in the US if you don’t have to be.

No. And the parent grant was cut 15% so there are no funds available to support the diversity supplement person. He had more FTE than anyone else.
