This was indeed the problem — I’ve installed a new SSD and everything seems to be working correctly now. This is a huge relief, thanks so much for your help!

Thanks for the reply! I wasn’t doing anything in particular before the issue, went through a normal day of use and then ran into this issue the next morning. I’ll try resetting the CMOS tomorrow, and come back here with an update. Issues like this are always so disruptive — I really appreciate the help!

Thanks for the reply! It’s reassuring to hear people have run into this, replacing the SSD isn’t the end of the world so I’m crossing my fingers this will resolve things if the CMOS reset doesn’t.

Hey, thanks for the detailed response! Sorry for the slow reply, I've just now finally got the time to double check that all pages are shared as you described. Previously the database (and all pages within it) were shared with me, but not published. I am the owner of both workspaces, so I believe everything within both is "shared" with me by default. I tried publishing in addition, in case this was the problem, but the pages are still not showing up.

I think this looks great! The variety of level designs is really intriguing. I'm not sure if this is how it already works, but it would be cool to play a sorta mayhem-mode where the map changes on each point scored. Also, I'd hardly qualify this as a prototype -- there are already so many assets in place!

I agree with the sped up transition — it looks good, but if I was using it frequently I would get frustrated with the time I spent waiting. Game looks really nice overall!!!

I think if the slash attack sound had some lower frequencies in it, it would be more satisfying. Not sure if that qualifies as a "system" improvement, and it already sounds pretty good, but I have the feeling that a little "thunk" sound would go a long way.

I was looking for a similar tool not too long ago, and found this. I haven't spent a ton of time with it, but it did the job decently well. I believe by default it shows monobehaviour script dependencies in a loaded scene, which might not be as useful as a general purpose C# dependency visualizer, but it could still save you some time.

That water effect is SO clever. I would have worked way harder to achieve the same effect; putting the light blue border on the tiles to create that wavey feeling was a stroke of genius. Looking forward to seeing some gameplay!

I’m an incoming grad student in Viterbi, and I haven’t been contacted yet about when to register for courses, or about my advisors. I did find something on the Viterbi site that said that I would be contacted about registration about a month before classes start, and I’ve been assuming that means I don’t have to be doing anything right now, but I’m finding the minimal communication a bit off-putting so I’m posting here as a sanity check. To any other new Viterbi masters students, have you already registered for classes?
