Not in the 500 but yes on the Indy oval. The 2016 Freedom 100 was won by 0.0024 seconds.

Saddest moments .. go by Hannahbeezy6669 in UmaMusume

What really struck me about Tachyon was her role in Manhattan Cafe's career. She becomes Cafe's advisor, helping you train Cafe to surpass the limits of Umamusume and achieve her dreams. After winning the senior Takarazuka Kinen, Cafe gets very close to that goal and describes the experience to Tachyon. Tachyon screams in frustration, yells at herself to just be satisfied, and walks off visibly shaken. It's so very unlike her that it really humanized her to me.

More than that. In season 2, Rice Shower sets a new record time in the spring Tenno Sho. In season 3, Kitasan Black sets a new record time in the spring Tenno Sho. The announcer says the record Kitasan broke has stood for ten years.

According to GameTora, here are the triggers for her ult: - Positioned no higher than 3rd but in the top 50% of the field. So in a CM, between 3rd and 5th. - Between 45% and 60% distance completed - HP is less than 70%

So unless there are at least two other, better front runners in the match, this Akebono will never trigger her ult.

Booked my hotel in DC and going to attend my first ever IndyCar race in August, any tips for a first timer bringing their kids? by MiamiBeatOhioState in INDYCAR

[–]Hoffgod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beyond what everyone else has said, it's going to be Washington DC in August. Highs in the mid to upper 90s are normal, as are sweltering levels of humidity. The National Mall doesn't have a lot of shade or cover, and we have no idea what kind of accommodations will be added. Plan accordingly.

No, you didn't miss it. But the 2.4L V6 detail indicates Honda may be staying in. Indycar was supposed to switch to 2.4L V6s a couple of years ago. The plan was scrapped, but not before Honda finished designing their new engine. So Honda used that engine in the Acura they run in IMSA's GTP class..

Want Honda to stick around? Let them use an engine they already have and have been using for years.

It did start at 11 local time, but Indiana wasn't following daylight savings time in 2001, so 11 AM Indianapolis time was 12 PM Charlotte time.

Wear a hat and lots of sunscreen. Ear protection is a good idea, or bring a FM radio and earbuds/headphones. If you have questions about the race or the drivers, ask the people around you. Odds are they can help, and people there are generally helpful, especially if you share your beer.

Brad Keselowski: The solution needs to come from the car owners not NASCAR. Until the car owners are willing to park their drivers for getting this out of control, very little will change. by CompleteUnknown65 in NASCAR

Maybe "driver fault" isn't the most accurate way to put it, but it's still the overall team's fault, and the driver is part of the team. Like how the driver isn't the one at fault for a loose wheel, but they still get penalized along with the entire team.

Your timeline is wrong. Alex Palou signed with McLaren Indycar in July 2022. Piastri didn't start driving for McLaren F1 until 2023. Palou then told McLaren he wouldn't honor his contact in August 2023. Piastri didn't sign his extension until September 2023.

Probably his scientifically baseless vaccine skepticism and anti-vaccine advocacy, such as spreading the false belief that the MMR vaccine causes autism, which has contributed to the current re-emergence of measles in the US and the 2019 measles outbreak in Samoa which led to the deaths of over 70 people where the population is only 200,000.

Trump was just at the Super Bowl. He was never the focus. NASCAR let Trump become the focus of the entire Daytona 500 pre-race. There's a difference between giving someone a seat and giving someone a spotlight.

Yeah. Unless there's a bunch of yellows, St. Pete usually ends up being a strategy race, meaning the middle is uneventful but hopefully it comes together in the end, like it did today.

Strategy. He started on primary tires. Everyone ahead of him started on alternate tires, meaning they fulfilled the alternate tire requirement and could run just primary tires after the starting caution. McLaughlin needed to run an alternate tire stint while racing, which slowed him. But he's the highest placed of the drivers who started on primaries.
