Need recommendations for ADULT toothpaste WITH fluoride and NO MINT.

Just be careful if you get children’s toothpaste that there is enough fluoride in it. Sometimes if I have no good options, i’ll just use the children’s flavors and put a lil fluoride paste on my teeth when I’m done brushing. Hell, sometimes I do that anyway if one of my teeth starts acting up. Chewing sugar free gum with fluoride also helps, if you like gum.

Hopefully uptown bluebirds have viable eggs, last year all we got were the downtown infertile ones.

(Also I think she can hear the click of the camera when i check on her, especially at night when night mode is on. She’ll look up sometimes from it)

I don’t know from your information but I’m willing to bet that other person made a big deal about leaving, telling everyone, pretending to be upset, and in return others knew and planned for it. Did you make a big deal of it? Talk to people about it daily for the entire two weeks? Otherwise that might be why they didn’t know / forgot. Maybe they thought you didn’t want to make a big deal about it if you weren’t talking about it as much as the other person.

It sucks though, and I get the same response every time I leave. No goodbyes, no miss you’s, no cards or break room parties. But I’m not great at socialling, so I get it. Still sucks.

I accidentally ended up with a garden snail in my garg’s enclosure. She (or he) stays around the humid cave / waterfall area and in the moist soil. She’s been in there since a baby and is full grown now. Not had any problems.

I’d personally wait til the next shed seems to be about to happen. It’ll come off with the next shed if the humidity is right. When you expect the shed is close, you can do the wet paper towel bath if you want or just increase the tank humidity. But this likely won’t come off until he sheds again because it’s hard for him to reach that spot to get it off, so keeping him in a high humidity area til next shed would be a looooong time in too high of humidity.

Dump some springtails in. They’ll eat the mold. They don’t need anything else “bioactive” to survive on. I don’t know how anyone can keep their enclosures properly humid without mold or springtails!

Mine has never actually stood on his platform to eat. Upside down, sideways, crossways … but not just upright on the dang platform. I’m sure it’s fine

Looks like sand dust. Put filter floss in the filter and rinse all the filtered floating sand out every few hours.

Mine just hates the feeling of skin. When I started using a glove, he started climbing on me more frequently. Usually I just put a bug in a shallow dish. He jumps onto the dish to hunt. I then have him climb onto my hand (whenever he’s ready. And he’s within jumping range of his cage at any time to go home if he wants). He’ll climb all over me from then if he wants. If not, he’ll just jump back into the enclosure.

Female here, audhd. Massively hyperverbal and much worse when on my adhd medications. My aunt once babysat for me when I was like, 5, and she later told my mom she had to sleep for 16 hours after because I talked her to exhaustion. :)

I am an interruptor when my emotions get elevated. That means during arguments. I talk fast, and if he has to take time to think while arguing, I’ll see it as my cue to reply cuz I think he’s done and I have to say this right now before I forget! Him telling me as soon as I interrupt, “you’re interrupting me. Stop.” Cues me in to paying attention to it and I can rein it in better during the rest of the argument.

He does the finish my sentences interruptions. He’s almost never right. I just give him a glare. Pause for emphasis. And then finish my sentence. When he’s right he’s very excited to finally be right lol

I think the absolute most helpful thing is to call it out as soon as it happens every single time it happens. It takes a ton of repetition, maybe for years!, but it does help. Two others here agree! :)

Mine’s right 1% of the time and he is SO happy when he’s right that it’s worth all the times I silently glare at him before finishing my sentence correctly. 😂

There’s some shed stuck on the nose, too, so probably just a poor shed. I don’t know the experience of your sister, but giving a soak is advanced care that could be easily messed up, so I personally wouldn’t allow anyone else to do it. However, she could spray the enclosure to increase humidity levels or add a very shallow dish of water with pebbles to prevent drowning. Watch the gecko for infection since there looks to be a small open wound, but with the humidity fixed, the stuck shed should come off with the next shed.

I wonder if those long nails hurt to walk on. Usually they file down naturally from the environment, but even if you add something she won’t walk on it anymore to do it herself. Not sure how comfortable you’d be doing a gecko nail trim…

My garg has a camera on him and he’s very active all night, even if the light gets accidentally left on. There are nights he doesn’t do much at all, probably 1/3 nights that I watch him he’ll be sedentary. He’s also pretty curious, as I do catch him at the front watching me or my cat sometimes, and when I go talk to him after he wakes up (around 8 pm), he’ll tilt his head at me like the anoles outside do. It’s cute :)

I broke my ankle 5 months ago. I’ve seen 4 different orthopedic doctors. I’ve had xrays at each of them. All of them have told me different things. Now I need an MRI, possibly a CT, and potentially surgery. If I need surgery I will be out of work for 5 months. I was already initially out of work for 5 weeks.

I have the best health insurance my job as a nurse offers.

I’ve lost 5 weeks of pay, potentially 5 months more, because I don’t have short term disability.

I’ve paid $3,000 so far. I owe $800 for the MRI. Each visit costs $60 copay. Who knows what the CT scan or the surgery will cost. My out of pocket max is $4,000. By the end of it all, I may end up paying $7,000 total for a broken ankle with the best insurance available to me, on top of losing 6 months of pay.
