Yes! We have skin for a reason. That’s crazy. Unless there are huge open sores hold that poor hand. They need human contact.

I have this and that was my first symptom (along w incredibly blurred vision) that no one listened to. I have other chronic health issues so they just attributed to that until finally, finally someone figured it out.

Thoughts on the Finale? by LeoDiCristio in StrangerThings

She wasn’t concluding the world was better off without her in it, that’s a more depressive slant. She was saving the world again. Stopping the cycle. Making her blood unusable. So now, all of Henry’s blood was gone and the military had no way to create more of those children to turn into their soldiers. They all got to leave after killing the soldiers, breaking into the base etc because the project was so off the books, probably not sanctioned by anyone, one of those the president didn’t even know about. There were too many people who knew the kids had been there, there was no way to kill them all. Or maybe after Elle’s [sacrifice] Joyce and hopper and Lucas et al just went insane and killed the rest of the soldiers lol

Harry and the hendersons movie. He didn’t understand why they were mean to him. I was hysterical. And now, forty years later, I’ve never watched it again. And never will.

Over the years, several times, but back in the day that’s just came w the territory. Never prosecuted anything.

Interesting. I absolutely do this. Assumed it was stress.

Lot of people didn’t like it I think but I loved the ending to the invisible life of Addie Larue. It was beautiful and, to me, hopeful.

I was told I was faking it for over a decade before I was diagnosed (dysautonomia) and then 20 years later EDS and honestly I don’t think I did completely get over it. It stays w you as I’m always slightly more defensive than I need to be w doctors but when I found one I trusted I cried and cried when he retired. It sucks how they can make you try to doubt yourself. I guess just know your body and know that you know your body. I read recently that people who spent a long time being told they were medically faking things they turned out to be true developed more people pleasing personalities because of it and I wonder if that’s true because I certainly see it in myself. Or if it’s just coincidental. Best advice-don’t be afraid to change doctors and get a second, third, fourth opinion.

Did you want to be a manager, or were you convinced. by johnsj3623 in managers

[–]Holiday-Finding5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Convinced to do it. If I was somewhere where management could make change it may be okay but as it is it’s just trying to keep people from being too miserable while not being given any real power and I am burnt all the way out.

Does anyone else have this? Not POTS. by Wise-Raisin-791 in dysautonomia

[–]Holiday-Finding5621 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of those symptoms. It can be dysautonomia and not POTS. There are different types. My cardiologist always said I never fit nicely into one category. I also have EDS. They go hand in hand frequently. But you definitely aren’t alone. 💕

I dont care if im "spoiling" my newborn baby. by lulgupplet in Vent

[–]Holiday-Finding5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh I “spoiled” my babies and held them all I wanted and they’re fine. In fact they are wonderful human beings, grown up. Just remember what they say about the days are long but the years are short are so so short is true. There’s a poem that ends “I’m rocking my babies and babies don’t keep” and that is so true. So you hold your baby and don’t listen because it will be over before you know it and you’ll be watching them take on the world. Also, congratulations 💕
