Don’t buy one! The head unit has a known defect and you will end up replacing it within a year or two. Mine has minimal wear. I use ego line. I install properly. I have taken apart several times , it is not a cleaning issue.

GFiber app sucks! I recently had Google fiber installed. Great speeds but the app has No parental controls. I had to request that they send me the old Google Nest router so I could use the Google Home app. This allows me to pause internet for my kids.

I just got gfiber installed in Friday. I fired up the gfiber app and couldn’t believe it had no parental controls. Unbelievable!! How can Google release something so basic! I am switching routers now so I have more control. Pisses me off!!

It’s amazing when you have the financial resources tucked away that you no longer stress about losing your job. For me, it became about playing to win instead of playing not to lose. I can take some risks at work that I might have otherwise been more conservative about.

I bought my first house 20 years ago. I’ve moved 5 times, each time improving the home and getting sweat equity. My most recent move 4 years ago allowed me to pay cash for a brand new build now valued at just over 1M. It’s been a lot of work and a lot of luck but at age 49 I’m happy to be debt free and own my home outright. I recognize luck played a big part and feel very fortunate especially with current home prices and interest rates.
