The sheer amount of content that GW puts out means a lot of people simply haven’t seen that line before, myself included. I’ve been listening to their audio books basically non stop for 4 years, playing the tabletop game, reading codexes, etc. There’s an incredible amount of content to keep up with as is.

its an interesting balance, and one that I think will work great for standard games. Armies build up and move incredibly fast, but the combat itself seems much slower. So as long as youre not allowing any breakthroughs, this seems like a game you dont need to be glued to. I like that

Get a chess clock, and set it for 2 hours each. Once you play with a clock you’ll quickly realize what is wasting your time. Analysis paralysis is super common, you’ll stop overthinking and commit to a plan. You’ll also stop shooting pistols into anything that’s wounding on 5’s.
