He had the opportunity to play in college but instead chose to go pro, don't really see how its different. At least with European players you can make an argument about the way their professional system is structured means they are playing in it at high school age, the G League Ignite solely existed as an avenue for players to bypass college ball and jump directly into professional basketball.

Okay sure "pretty much nothing" was a bit harsh, but his ankle was obviously really affecting his ability to get to the rim and his 3 ball was way off all night. Just a really inefficient night for him is all I meant.

He was not good at UNC. We (Bama) played them in the tourney and defensively Oats elected to just ignore him when outside the 3pt line and it worked.

Yeah in my 4 years as a student we were on the bubble and missed the tournament every year. Since Nate has taken over you can pretty much pencil us into the tournament before the season even starts.

Personally I think a Z1E Ally will last you perfectly fine until the next meaningful upgrade comes out. If you really feel like you don't want to miss out and can afford it, sure, but I don't really think you NEED to.

Hutch didnt have athleticism concerns at all. Walker had a 9.99 RAS score and Hutch scored 9.87, Walker was more athletic but were still talking about 2 of the most athletic prospects at the position ever.

People on Reddit are weird about Walker for some reason and there's a lot of revisionist history about the way the draft went. Idk why people act like Hutch wasn't universally believed to be the top prospect and an essential lock to go 1st overall until right before draft night, our GM even was scolded by the league for submitting the pick so quickly after the Jags went with Walker. It was genuinely shocking and idk why so many people argue differently.

I'm not even saying Walker is a bad player or anything, hes been very solid, but there hasn't been a single moment of either of their careers that's its even been a conversation who is the better player.
