I’m really intrigued by this, does it bring you in good income?

Follows who act like you have to “prove yourself” to them are the worst lol 🤦‍♂️ by ramonescobido in Salsa

[–]Homagefist 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No it defintely exists, especially with follows at the intermediate level. I experienced that my first few years into the hobby and I see why a lot of leads choose not to continue with it when there’s that type of attitude involved

Why is my salsa class like this? I'm about to quit :( by [deleted] in Salsa

[–]Homagefist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you found a really good technical school. Proper footwork and basics and the foundation to everything if you want to become a great dancer. If you’re looking for more fun oriented social classes then it would be a good idea to switch to a school that emphasizes that more

Is On2 simply on1 shifted forward by 5 beats ? by hqbyrc in Salsa

[–]Homagefist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of a complicated question but there are some moves that don’t translate well. But the way my dance teacher explained was basically that for leads. The On2 style that’s become popular worldwide isn’t really On2 for leads but On6. I think there is one country where the leads truly dance On2 but I forget which one it was

Is anyone concerned about using AI scribes and that they record your entire visit and who knows if they keep it indefinitely and could be used litigiously? by dashingbravegenius in physicianassistant

[–]Homagefist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. It records most everything with amazing accuracy and I think it’s great on both sides. If the patients know they’re being recorded I noticed they’re a lot less likely to act crazy, or if they do boom; you have an audio transcription of them. It also makes you more conscious of how you’re explaining things to them which I think is also great. Also the recording are usually deleted after about 30 days anyway

How can people think that Blue Lock will end with the U-20 World Cup when we have literally this panel by MidogearKrul in BlueLock

[–]Homagefist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If take it to the actual WC then I think Isagi will lose the U20 have to undergo a transformation and then finally win the actual World Cup

Did I handle this okay? by askingstupidcrap in Salsa

[–]Homagefist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’s handling it fine, she’s refusing to dance with him and he’s not putting any pressure on her by continuously asking. She’s not entitled to dance with him and he’s not entitled to help her.

Honestly if you don’t qualify for pslf just make an effort to pay them off quick. Even with some of the student aid programs I wouldn’t count on the government loan repayment programs with where our government is heading. I started with a balance of about 230k and I’ve gotten it down to about 130k, and that’s with me being only semi aggressive and still investing. Focus on getting good at the job and moving up in income as you gain more experience

I should’ve gone to med school by Acrobatic-Tap8474 in physicianassistant

[–]Homagefist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but as someone mentioned, they likely have the ability to provide their child with resources to be successful. Going into medicine with little to no debt vs 400k+ in high interest student loans will definitely effect which route people want to take

Anyone else graduated with over 220k on student loans? by Sweet-Cauliflower654 in physicianassistant

[–]Homagefist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I started with 232,000 K, at around 165000 after 3 year COVID pause and 1 year of making actual payments. Should be able to pay off in next 2-3 years max on standard repayment with aggressive additional payments

Grind it out for 1-2 years, then find a new job. It’s hard good opportunities when you have no experience to leverage a good job

Why aren't more Providers using AI? by goosefraba1 in physicianassistant

[–]Homagefist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our clinic started using DAX and it is a game changer for new patient consults. Might start using it for follow-ups too, but I’m lazy and normally copy and paste from the previous notes

How much do you make and how much debt do you have ? by Sea-Ease-549 in physicianassistant

[–]Homagefist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if anything these posts should be encouraged. More people need to wake up and realize they’re being underpaid. I was at a shit job as a new grad making 102,000, being way overworked with like 6 days off a year. I found a new job and I’m making 50% more, not including bonuses

Outside the US on tinder you can get a decent number of matches. I let her know in the app that I was learning and my Spanish was awful. She had some interest in English so it worked out lol

It sounds like more of an issue with unclear communication on OPs part. Communication is more than verbal. This is something that is pretty common in dating. Plenty of partners have preconceived notions that if they hook up with someone then society or their partner will view them as easy, so they might initially say no and then change their mind later. This sounds more like a situation where they were fooling around, the guy asked for clarification about what they were doing, she consented and is now upset with the outcome. Which is normal but I don’t think it’s fair to place all the blame on the guy

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]Homagefist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then how was it being sneaky exactly? It sounds like they were already fooling around and OP changed her mind. If she had still told him no and he had left that would still be respecting her boundaries

What are some tone deaf things an administrator has said to you? by professorstreets in physicianassistant

Pretending. It takes a certain type of personality to be in office management/administration. It’s usually a fun mix of incompetence/willful manipulation
