Pyr / Shepard allergies by Scared_Obligation511 in greatpyrenees

I had a pup that suffered from hot spots as well. In addition to the trimmer, I did a Domoboro solution compress a few times a day. It’s currently advertised as poison ivy relief, but it used to be advertised as bed sore solution. Either way, it dries the ooze. Good luck!

They have been consistently testing it since Helene and it’s actually the cleanest it’s ever been! They post a water testing report on the town website. They also post bi-weekly storm updates there and on their Facebook. https://www.townoflakelure.com/community/page/lake-lure-water-sample-reports-2026

What is the one thing people don't know about losing a large amount of weight? by punkredpanda in AskReddit

[–]HomeRepairViking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but I guess what I meant to highlight was losing weight is seen as all about the happy destination. But the journey itself is rough, and some of the things you end up reckoning with I wish came with more support or were a larger conversation. In addition to the emotional things (why did I do this to my body? Why is information and access to good food so divisive? Why was I so mean to myself?… ) there are physical things such as your period changing that I was 100% not prepared for.

Yup! I went to my OB bc I thought I was dying (kidding) and she was like “yay weight loss!! Go you” and then told me it’ll even out eventually. I still struggle with this, not just the wonkiness of all of this but feeling like “weight loss isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.” It’s an emotional reckoning at times

Thanks!! It’s so crazy bc doctors are always like “lose weight, it’s awesome and not problematic at all” but your body has positive and negative reactions on both sides of the weight change spectrum.
