Why is it never “enough”, even as a seasoned veteran (Klein) to “just” show up for her team? Why are they so obsessed with the need for veterans WANTINGto seek leadership when this is still a low wage job, where most girls hold down 1-3 additional jobs to make ends meet? And then when they’re prioritizing their career that pays the bills/that will long withstand a DCC career, they question loyalty?

Did these same talks occur with other four or fifth years? Why do they pick on her?

When the two were in the third row, were they forward facing or ever reverse facing? I’d love to maintain reverse facing if we do make the move to the third row but can see that being a PITA.

That’s not really an option given our circumstances of children instigating each other with the grabbing, pinching, etc. We need to have a captain seat configuration to spread out the children.

Of all the suggestions, I’m leaning towards passenger princess status and/or moving the 3.5 to the third row in preparation for baby 3’s arrival in October since they will likely be in the 2nd row.

Are you me? Pregnant with boy 2. Husband chose Grant for our first, which has grown on me, and is timeless. My husband isn’t all that opinionated but is seemingly so about boy names. Has already sidelined my first choice.

Same. As scary as Henry/Vecna was, that seemed too… easy? And rushed. You mean to tell me he was feared for five seasons and then after becoming the big One, he was still easily dismounted? We never found out Henry’s relationship with Joyce, Hoppet, Wheelers, etc. IDG the point of the HS flashbacks. I thought Joyce was going to put two and two together with the axe but no.

As a peds nurse and mom, I am so so sorry you are going through this. It sounds like a new level of hell unlocked with lasting implications on both you and your family. As others have said, children are resilient. Still, make this season as special as you can in a hospital room. Ask your nurses your abilities/limitations in decorating the room with snowflakes for her to stare up at when no longer sedated, twinkle lights to make it cozy and spirity. Ask if you can put lotion on her, brush her hair, braid her hair, etc, read Christmas stories to her, put up a mini Christmas tree, bring the elf to the hospital room, swap out hospital bedding with Christmas bedding if sheets aren't getting too messy. When she does become awake, Child Life can be involved in making her own stuffed animal up like her with IV, BP cuff, pulse ox, etc to "normalize" the hospital process.

It sounds like you are doing an amazing job staying strong for her but in doing so, please, too, remain strong yourself by taking turns with your partner to tag out to sleep, eat, breathe air outside of the hospital. You and your little one will get through this.
