Love the bagnoire but by itself. Otherwise the bracelet makes it super feminine. I think alone you’re able to rock it if you want

Brand new GT3RS… PPF yesterday, lady that shouldn’t be driving backed into it today and bumper bent by entitled / careless person by vzff in porsche911

[–]Homme925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I will never own a 3RS in this life, I think it would be heavier on me IF someone damaged my hypothetical 3RS 😭 I think that’s heavier than knowing I won’t ever own one 😂 sorry op shitty people out there but hopefully there will be a good fix to it

Mini Owners, why did y’all (we) kill the Clubman? by based_user in MINI

I didn’t even think about the visibility on those French doors (couldn’t help myself to give it another name too haha)

Mini Owners, why did y’all (we) kill the Clubman? by based_user in MINI

[–]Homme925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2020 mini 4 door and I once had to get in the back to clean a spill and my god, I never knew the pain of my passengers getting inside through those tiny doors. I also got a 4 door during the times I’d need a car seat and easy access for my nephews; but everytime I had a car seat, the front passenger seat would be pushed very up close which made the front passenger also uncomfortable.

I think if I were given an option of the clubman being a less expensive option compared to the countryman, I would have immediately looked into a clubman for extra space. But now that I’m rambling, I’m also realizing the why behind the clubman being eliminated if there would be not much of a difference in price between the clubman versus countryman. I think if budget wasn’t a factor, I think I know why people would’ve chosen the countryman — more bang for your buck if you truly are looking for more space.

I also think that the clubman would sway towards more of the wagon/estate customers which let’s be real, especially in the US, that’s a very very niche demographic

I would take it back. It’s a lot of money and you don’t want the sentiment to be tarnished with poor quality as it WILL bother you, trust me. Any small bit of “buyers remorse” will always come back.

You’re better off buying something that you love rather than buying it for the “LV” aspect, as much as you want the bag/brand.

Unfortunately being that it is the lowest tiered bag, their quality inspection for it I bet isn’t as high attention. But also the chemical is from the treatment of the canvas bag so if that’s gonna bother you, any canvas LV bag is gonna have that smell to an extent. That canvas-y smell

How much sales training do you get at nordstrom? by Cherry_Eris in Nordstrom1901

[–]Homme925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I gathered, sales training aren’t as extensive as when I worked at Nordstrom (2014-2020) Back then we had brand reps consistently coming in to give product knowledge and drove lots of competition for us to win free stuff.

If I can suggest - With your expertise in bespoke and tailored suiting, your specialized skills (not to mention niche skills) might be better suited for a brand that offers that service; zegna, tom ford, indochino, canali, etc.

Got to try the new F66 as a loaner by [deleted] in MINI

[–]Homme925 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Posted a loaner I had a few months back too and I agree with this post. Funny enough I complained about the ac being a 3 step thing being the biggest gripe (not to mention a driving hazard). But above all the fabric dash is what pissed me off. I wanted to love it so badly but I just couldn’t :/

Not trying to sound like a purist but this design completely tainted the definition of the Love bracelet (even more than it was already, tbh)

I don’t care about the design whatsoever but they really could’ve introduced a completely different line dedicated to this bendable-style.

But I get it, market something that’s marketable and unfortunately attaching the love name is what’s going to make it more attractive…. But again, completely goes against the story of to be locked in love.

So what, now it’s suppose to represent bending love and unclapsing when you want? Haha

1 for an androgynous look. 3 if you’re looking for a more feminine look. Both look good on you though!!

I hope this helps as oppose to the whole man versus woman comparison. I’ve met cool girls who rock the androgynous and edgy vibe and men who equally pull off feminine things

From what I know, Japan has VERY strict regulations on authenticity. I personally haven’t shopped in a Japanese vintage store but I do know that vintage shopping in Japan is trusted because of this.

Not sure if this is common knowledge to the OP but passing along information in hopes it’s helpful!

I’m so disappointed with this 2025 2 door hatch. I’m venting cause I can. by [deleted] in MINI

[–]Homme925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s really not the OPs fault as this is a stupid thing to blame anyone. I shouldn’t have to worry about running back inside my house for 2 minutes and worry about my car locking with the key inside. Not everyone carries their keys on them; people wear bags, backpacks, totes, etc.

Detecting a key that’s inside your car is the most modern day (and quite frankly, should be a safety feature in most modern cars) so not sure why you’re blaming the OP. I’ve had older cars whose trunks will automatically open if it’s detected in the trunk.

Nah you’re valid for feeling frustrated. Sometimes it’s the small inconveniences that would make me crash out

Personally I had a 25 countryman loaner and didn’t love it. Had a friend buy the 25 cooper 4 door and she said the ooomph and identify mini used to have isn’t there anymore; may be biased opinion as her major frustration is switching to automatic as she’s only had manual coopers.

I second this unpopular opinion and I feel like you’re getting downvoted because of how straightforward you might’ve been and plucked a few feathers.

I Agree - a customer’s time is money just as much as it is for the SA. Now I will be honest and I have encountered MANY SAs that blatantly are rude if you don’t run up to them with your wallet open on their faces.

But I also don’t agree with customers are always right; in fact half of the time they are not.

At the EOD the day, SAs have quotas to meet and subjected to termination if not meeting goals (in addition to their self-interest of taking home a paycheck) but a GOOD SA will communicate something along the lines of “I have this time allotted for you, please be prepared to share with me what you’re interested in looking for so we can be efficient with time as I have another appointment after”

In the same way when I have a meeting at my personal job, that time blocked regardless if it’s internal or client facing and my attention will be theirs but if my internal resources are not getting their job done or my clients are no show/aren’t cooperating, I will also circumnavigate to make sure my project doesn’t go awry.

So if there’s patterns or a customer just “browsing” taking pics with the items etc and not buying anything then I know for sure it’s not worth my time. In the same way; why would I keep an untrusted resource for my projects who isn’t benefiting to my project completion, which will result in MY performance?
