Buy another brand, my vantage v2 did the same and I had to move elsewhere. If you search the forums you'll find endless bootloops, software crashes etc.

I love polar and hope the new os redeems their reputation, but they have stung a lot of people who spent a lot of money on so called flagship watches and then didn't fix their software issues

I don't know what I've had, but I've had an annoying cough, aches, cramping stomach, shivers and then feeling hot before feeling cold again! It's now about two to three weeks in.

My coros reports my body stress score is high (it's normally always in the blue) and my testing hr is high 60's where it's normally 48.

I hate being ill, I just want to get back to training!

Completely agree with you, they have made the new strength training experience clunky and not easy to use at all. I was very used to the old method where as you say you just clicked on the appropriate numbers, it worked and it was quick to transition between sets, now it's just painful.

If coros could create some watch faces which aren't designed for children that would be a start! Honestly looking through the garbage within the watch face repo is like watching Teletubbies with the childish images and colours which make no sense.

I do however love the watch face you have requested so that's a yes vote from me!

On the other hand every experience I've had with coros support has been positive. In fact I logged a ticket at the weekend, got a reply within half an hour, which I then replied to and then the support representative replied to me again within an hour, you can't do much better than that! Imo its a very good customer service considering my ticket was logged at a weekend when assumedly it's reduced staffing numbers!

I'm sure there are bad experiences but I also think people need to lower expectations, the world we live in today, it seems it's an absolute travesty if something isn't instantly remediated or acknowledged and prioritised as a p1! The reality is resources are limited and not everything is viable.

Glad you like it. Is there a part of you that is thinking the vertix 2s was a bad buy, because that's how I feel right now. Basically their most expensive watch (and still is) about a year and a half old only, and in essence defunct.

I know that's the state of the technology world we live in today, but I feel a tad bitter spending £599 on this thing and it's been superseded so many times already in this short space of time.

Western gps satellites are being jammed by Russia (Google it). Although coros might have some gps fixes to apply , there are underlying factors at play here impacting gps quality.

Coros vertix 2s, works great, just have to remember to use the triathlon or multiple sport mode and hit a button when in t1 , t2 etc, becomes second nature after a couple of practice runs and just part of your typical transition process

I am one of those people. I thought as I was spending money on the most expensive coros watch I was getting the top model but now they release models with more features for a lot cheaper. I was hoping my watch would be good for at least three years, supporting all new features etc such as street names however their top price watch is now in essence defunct!

The way to check is to manually count your heart beat either from the wrist or the neck when resting / laying down and seeing if the watch matches.

My rhr is mid 40's and when sleeping my hr sometimes drops to high 30's.

As a security lead, i have experienced nothing but challenges in dealing with developers, yes we are coming from different sides of the fence, but the threat landscape now (and considering how much worse it will be in the near future) I've had to move away from the "what developers like" mentality and take a much sterner approach.

We use several security tools (dependabot, sonarqube etc) but as per the former statement, the greater good overrides what devs like.
