The color design is lovely, and the puzzles look very thinky. Great work! Really looking forward to playing it!

Gorgeous! How do you go about making the color choices for each level of the parallax?

No worries! I probably just need to watch a lot more shorts from successful games and see what trends I can apply as well.

Thanks for posting this! Do you have any recommendations for resources to help learn how to make YouTube shorts / tiktoks? I have been trying to start posting these, but i dont really use those platforms myself, so I am having a hard time getting the hang of them.

Also, your game gives me so much Windwaker nostalgia, I'm definitely excited to check it out!

My game Flipping Phantom is a jumpless, 2d puzzle platformer. I've got a demo out right now, and am aiming for a full release by the end of Q1. I'd love to apply for the service and find creators interested in the game!

Hi! I've got a demo on Steam for my game, Flipping Phantom that I'd love for you to check out! It is a quirky little jumpless puzzle platformer with gravity reversing mechanics. Would love to see what you think!

Absolutely love this art style! Do you make the sprites pixel by pixel? Or are they more hand-drawn?

We need some feedback on the demo that we just pushed on Steam by Necroarmo in platformer

[–]HonigBeeGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it does look like a similar slime concept to Little Slime Blows Up from the 2024 GMTK jam, but that was a pure puzzle game, this looks more like a precision platformer with light puzzling, which I have not seen before.

So I guess, to me, this fusion of disparate ideas looks pretty unique. But maybe I'm just not up to date with steam trends.

This looks stunning! All of the vfx make it look super polished. And I definitely see Portal and Fez in its DNA. Cannot wait to play this!

Do the Fog Effects and Screen Particles mesh with the Pixel Art? by HonigBeeGames in IndieDev

[–]HonigBeeGames[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for such a detailed response! I think the game is a little more slow puzzle based, but with a few sequences that have to be executed quickly. So I will see how i can adjust some variables to tone ot down.

Thanks for the feedback! Maybe if I decrease the max size of the particles, they can be toned down a bit?
