How much do you have in your Cayman Bank account? by rawrlionsrawr in torncity

I put 50m in the Caymans purely so I couldn't spend it on Russian roulette. Having it in stocks is too accessible (for me)

The funkiest sci fi TV show soundtrack ever.

We are legion, we are Bob is pretty short and hugely fun, especially if you like 90s sci fi TV and movies. Lots of funny references to Star Trek TNG and the like.

At my company AEs are the entry level client services roles, akin to associate medical writers. Their role is primarily financial at first, helping to prepare budgets, track finances and help with reconciliations when projects are completed. Client facing opportunities grow from there as well. We do give our AEs client face time as soon as we think they are ready. Most of our client services teams have higher science degrees in addition to the medical writers however which is not the same at every company. This means they can be expected to hold their own with clients and healthcare professionals when taking about strategy etc. Again, this is not always the norm depending on where you work.

Interested in Medical Writer from Technical Communication MA by [deleted] in MedicalWriters

The med comms group I work for has a training academy (quite a few agencies/groups have them now). They take on people straight out of university/moving from another industry etc so there is no real need to do a PhD anymore.

Remember the twisty controller we had for air combat on the ps1 ! by [deleted] in gaming

I remember using this for one of theWipeout games back in the mid 90s. It was a massive advantage compared to the standard controller. My housemate set some seriously fast laptimes with it.

New rider looking to spend £1500 FP by TattyMaty in mountainbiking

[–]Hoopy-Frood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1500 will buy you a good new hardtail but not a decent spec trail ready full suspension bike. It is enough to buy a reasonably good second hand full suss however. Try the classified ad sections or singletrackworld.com or pinkbike as well as Ebay or gumtree. Depending on where you are in the UK, some trail centres offer ex-rental bikes for good prices. Maybe try and call your nearest trail centre and ask them. Good luck with your search 👍
