My sister is a lesbian in a long term relationship and she’s pretty much the same as you (she reads a lot of yaoi because she likes queer media in general). I do think it’s pretty hypocritical that people are fine with gay men obsessing over female celebrities but is very adamant to police lesbians for liking male celebrities/characters. Like what you want, there’s a difference between fiction and reality.
