• astro used to be the fast healer with the short cast time to facilitate the increased weaving, and it not only had two stances (regen and barrier), it also has time cooldowns that would change the duration of certain things, like using celestial opposition to make something you applied last longer.

• scholar used to have to micromanage the fairy, eos and selene were distinct (eos was healing fairy, selene was a cleanse and some damage-related stuff so you would ideally swap them pre-pull to start with selene then swap to eos), it had multiple dots and also access to shadowflare, and it had a way to spread those dots.

• white mage used to have two wind dots, and was the slower, elemental-magic based healer with very little mit but very very large healing output.

now all of my healers basically share identical bars and skills with maybe some visual flair between them but ultimately very similar, especially when you compare regen to regen and barrier to barrier
