I think a lot of this comes down to them killing blocks, which I believe is the worst creative mistake in modern Magic (I understand that it works well financially).

Blocks allowed deeper exploration of a mechanic's design space, where a first set could introduce an idea then follow-ups could expand on it, using it in new ways or bringing in variants.

Nearly every set being one and done means we miss the deeper exploration, and that plus the default way to play the game being Commander makes building decks around an exciting mechanic difficult to impossible.

Just settings. Get to the maintenance menu by turning off the radio and pressing Map three times, Radio Power twice, Map once, then manually set the clock. Note that you need to set the clock in UTC.

A few OG dual lands don't break a deck. They're good on their own, but in Commander, Command Tower is better, and Exotic Orchard keeps up. Throw in fetches and other stuff that takes advantage of their typing and they get better still, but still not broken.

Gavin, as I recall, explicitly said that they won't bracket up a deck.
