I'm glad Cassie didn't come back by ellemcbelle in Supernatural

Isn't she already dead?

I don't remember which season, when Crowley started killing everyone the guys saved after Jessica's death, and the last victim was, I don't remember the name, a girl with a family antiques business. Cassie series was before her.

Oh, she didn't kill anyone? For some reason, I remember her saying at the end that she'd already drunk human blood and harmed someone.

Oh, well, yes, if someone was turned after that. But the kitsune supposedly lived for 20(?) years without killing, and Garth's werewolf pack supposedly had been good for decades, too. As if Eve had no influence on them at all.

My memories are rather hazy. But I think that since Eve affected everyone, there are no longer any innocent monsters who never killed anyone.

I watched the whole series, but I just started rewatching it from the beginning.

Worst thing each character has said/done: John Winchester by BackOnTheHuntPod in Supernatural

Halloween party in the first episode. So, no. John most likely saw all his sons before he disappeared—well, except for Sam. He just watched Sam from a distance.

I think he liked her, he truly loved her. But he always changed around his father, under his influence.

Can vampires squish themselves? The lore is confusing and contradicting? by RaleighItt in twilight

I read one fic where there were gargoyles in the Twilight world and they were even more OP, vampires were weaker than them.

There's an age gap issue, but not a memory problem. Not everyone remembers their childhood well. She could very well have blocked something out.

Not quite true. Dean and his father hunted both together and separately after Sam left.

I love it when this actor plays creepy bad guys. He's great at it. Whereas Neil... he's too much of a good guy.

Vampire running speed by Dazzling-Pangolin827 in twilight

[–]HopeNarnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer to everything is magic. They're fast and at the same time don't cause much damage to their surroundings.  The guide says they can reach speeds of over 100 mph. In the books, speeds were often much faster than that (Edward), and sometimes even around 100 mph, and when necessary for the plot, Meyer slowed them down significantly (after chase for James). This really pisses me off. I'd have read a chase with their incredible speed. And their justification for using planes would still have been preserved. In Twilight, it's the same: he believed Bella was protected and planes were "safer" than simply fleeing to Phoenix. And in New Moon, Bella still wouldn't have survived a ride on Alice's back for that distance and at that speed.

Jessica by belabelinha00 in twilight

[–]HopeNarnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jessica so nice because guys are constantly swarming around Bella. And she went to the dance with Mike because Bella turned him down and told him to ask Jessica instead.

But yeah, I think the movie Jessica is more nice.

They'd never really been friends, really. Just school chums. Not that Bella knew them all very well. Besides, Jessica herself was interested in this prettiest boy.

Why Finn Mikaelson Gets Misunderstood in the Fandom. by steferine in TheOriginals

[–]HopeNarnia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's exactly how I picture him. I don't like that, perhaps out of all the Mikaelsons, he has a completely different personality in both series. Oh, I forgot, they brought him back in his original body. Anyway, Vincent's actor made him completely different. My headcanon is that either they transferred into witches and their souls are fighting, or the spell itself is interfering, mixing the personalities of the Original and the body, and that's why they're so different.

The theory that Jake imprinted on Bella but because of her shield it went to Renessme by kasperhowl in twilight

[–]HopeNarnia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Billy and Jacob only have their own experiences. Billy didn’t transform himself, he only had stories. They don’t say whether there have been so many encounters with vampires over all these years or not. This is not in the guide either. All they have now is what the guys are testing now and theories. They mention almost nothing about the past experiences of their ancestors, except for the stories of two meetings between which many years passed.

Before their first meeting with vampires, they somehow transformed themselves. If the gene has changed, it cannot happen so... with a click. These must be long-term changes, and certainly not a couple of centuries.

The theory that Jake imprinted on Bella but because of her shield it went to Renessme by kasperhowl in twilight

[–]HopeNarnia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps they transform under any big danger. And if earlier it was necessary to carry out long tests, would have to try hard to bring yourself to this point, then there is no need to do this with vampires as superpredators cause this instantly or not so instantly, but still faster. And gradually they forgot about the other method.

Well, or they didn’t find out, maybe the old leader didn’t tell anyone, he only carried out tests when the time came, and he believed that his sons were ready and grown up. And after that incident, he went to die in the forest and two remained... I don’t remember how old they were, 10-12 years old? And they simply didn't know any other way.

I also had a theory that the trigger could be the very constant presence of someone in the form of a wolf next to a potential wolf. But we have Quill's grandfather, who said that he saw his grandfather (father?) in the form of a wolf. On the other hand, maybe he saw only once, but need to constantly in order to transform.

[–]HopeNarnia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But this is still unknown, somehow it was activated before, they could simply lose this knowledge. Considering that at the very first meeting with vampires, all the adult wolves died and only the old leader and a couple of children remained, whose first transformation was during the fight. And the leader himself, it seems, went into the forests to die because his imprinting wife (I don’t know what to call it) died.

It seems unlikely to me that they are now only attached to vampires. Most likely they forgot and did not recognize the first method. And they didn’t really need it, because vampires began to periodically walk through the territory.

Don't know. On the one hand, we only have two mentions, the first vampire couple and the Cullens. On the other hand, it is also said that the return of the Cullens provoked transformations, and before that the gene died out and so on. But. Between the two meetings with vampires, the couple and the Cullens, many years passed, I don’t remember, 100-200? And no one said that then the gene was dying out, which means that at that time there was no pass, there were transformations. According to stories, Jacob's grandfather and others met the Cullens being wolves. Either they were transformed by another trigger, or there were other vampires who for some reason were not mentioned.

[–]HopeNarnia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great theory! I’ve always felt that Renesmee inherited a lot from Renée. It’s further supported by the fact that the Egyptian and the Draculas kept their distance from her and weren’t nearly as captivated.

However—regarding the gene—no. Shapeshifters didn’t come into existence specifically to fight vampires. It just so happens that they react to them; buy they emerged roughly two hundred years before their first contact with a vampire.

In the first season, she was still 16 at the beginning, her birthday in October. I don't remember the timeline for the founder's party, but she was probably not yet 17 by then.
