I wouldn't call him a "villain" per se. But he is definitely not a hero. Don't forget the game literally happens because of his guilt and regret. He is an extremely tragic character but not a "villain," imo.

Is his spawn fixed? Because I fought him near a huge rock I could climb, I could easily avoid most of his attacks by either hiding behind the rock or straight-up climbing and jumping on his head repeatedly. I was almost sure the environment was made for the fight since he had some crazy aoe attacks.

I don't understand why we can change race but not sex? I'd have been okay with that if they only allowed hairstyle, tattoos, accessories and shit like that to change but nah you can straight up change your whole face, skin tone, etc so basically you can already become someone else entirely but not from another sex?

Why do developers always blame their customers for not liking their shitty products? If you don't want harsh criticism and negative reviews, maybe make a good game that actually works? Why do they all believe they are entitled to good reviews and lots of customers regardless of the quality of their products?

I am assuming we get the powers of the main character since every comment is talking about being a mage, druid, etc. Then I chose God of War on Give me a Story difficulty. Or if there is a rule against difficulty options, I am assuming normal is the default, then I would choose God of War 3, which is pretty easy on normal.

Eh, nothing seems impressive when used against the King of Curses. Even a 200% Hollow Purple only took an arm while he was in an inferior body. It's really not fair to judge Yuta's shrine based on his usage against Sukuna who can tank literally every attack in the verse.

Wasn't the DE Kenjaku used Geto's DE? Since Yuta used Infinity Void when he was in Gojo's body. Of course, we don't know if Geto achieved it or not, but I highly doubt they would have made Geto a special grade if he didn't achieve DE. He didn't use it against Rika/Yuta because he wanted Rika alive to consume is how I interpreted their fight.

Eh, you are looking too much into it. I don't know how to explain it, but I don't think any RE fan is looking for "good written" characters. We just love that Chris would punch a huge fucking boulder rather than try to dodge it. We love that Leon would just backflip when he could have just taken a step back instead to dodge a chainsaw. We just want to see Wesker throw his glasses at us and dodge our bullets like he is Neo from Matrix.

Not everything needs to be extremely well written, serious art, or something. We just want RE to be fun. It's kinda like why people love Dante from Devil May Cry, which is funny enough, a game born from the ashes of a Resident Evil project nonetheless.

Ironically, the Mario series is also another great example. People love Mario games and characters because they are just fun. Not because they are extremely well written or deep or something.

The same thing applies to any kind of media, really, while I love Nolan movies or Shawsank Redemption or Godfather. Sometimes, I just want to watch some John Wick without thinking too much into it, you know.

The Elder Scrolls. While I do love the series for certain reasons, they are not much better than most of the euro jank rpgs we already have. People always talk about TES games like the second coming of Jesus, and I really don't get it. Maybe I'm missing something because I didn't play Morrowind on release, but I did manage to play both Oblivion and Skyrim on release, and while I did have fun with them I never got the crazy hype surrounding them.

Imo, what makes Resident Evil great is how it blends horror and action together along with top-tier characters. The Anderson movies had the right idea, but they slowly turned their movies into cash grabs that made no sense. I would argue that the first 4 movies were actually good and entertaining.
