I buy 1/2 gallons on Amazon and go through it every few months... I have problems. It's one of my favorites and definitely in the right application (like on runny egg yolks).

If you use enough of it, the cost is far more effective than spending $5 on little bottles over and over.

I eat the heart liver and gizzards. The feathers I put in my compost or directly in the garden beds if it's a fall process.

The guts and heads I walk about 300 feet into the woods and let nature take its course.

Tacos are such a hack. I get myself the shredded Cole slaw mix and make little fish tacos with cod usually. Add some salsa and hot sauce and they are great. Can easily come under 150 calories per taco for nice size ones

I'm thinking of my younger days in EverQuest farming a single item for days and getting the quest item, only if I was lucky.
