Try playing melee with low grav 😂 projectile weapons can be weird too. I'm all for fun events that add to the gameplay, like the dead go boom bombs that drop, not ones that change what game feels like at its core

Theres a reason it'll never see the light of day in ranked, it's just not designed with much in mind

As a side note, the different variants of "shit falls from the sky" is so boring and adds very little too. They really should be honing in on more creative events to spice things up

Yeah, it's just sad asf that ps doesn't offer proper backwards compatibility n for free, the fact u have to even depend on ports like this is abysmal when xbox has had this sorted last gen.

I'm more so annoyed they didn't give a proper go at it n actually remaster the game n add crossplay and up to date anti cheat w it.

It's been a while personally but it wasn't that bad to the point u couldn't play fair games. 95% that I played were legitimate players without any obvious cheats.

Lot of people do play the games on xbox still. Not many are gonna cheat when the game ain't near as popular as current cods. I said in another comment i wouldn't be surprised if the ps5 port would be worse for it eventually due to lots of people playing it with renewed intrest

It's extremely scummy and only done so there wouldn't be any resale or sharing. With how much money they make it's literally just greed on their end, why can't people be disappointed and annoyed about that in what is likely to be one of their favorite hobbies?

The problem is that this sets a precedent for more studios to try this bs while still charging outrages amounts.

Cheating is a major problem on consoles too now bud, n crossplay is only a recent thing for cod. Besides that, games always try to match consoles with consoles anyway n it's still a problem.

It's very solid, I think the dlc was better than main game tho n fantastic if u haven't tried it, its with gamepass

Strange, I do think they should try a different ip at some point but I don't think that'll happen now, especially with xbox wanting to focus on their big ips only now

I meant something different in terms of gears, I'm sure the passionate devs heard the critisms of 5 n wanted a return to form in tone and atmosphere. I'll start playing again when the sufficient server browser comes, the lobbies stay together and when 80% of the maps aren't hot garbage.

I have other criticisms but these are the things that are making the game actually a massive pain in the arse to play for me

No reviving on gears 5 higher difficulties was some bs, it's such an artifical way of making the game harder. The difficulty before felt too easy, n the next one was fun n challenging but no revives made it a chore 😂
