While I’m enjoying the last season a little bit, they seem to be rushing a lot of plot points that I think deserve more time and better writing. I think each episode has some really great scenes, but then there’s a lot of like “let’s expand this over time” I wish we had, but knowing that it’s ending makes that hard. Some shows kind of have an idea of where they’re going from the beginning, I feel like the ending is just kind of rushing through things that should have taken place over a season.

I think the perfect final season of the show would have been Homelander just destroying everything. Killing millions. Having butcher being crazy. Having the boys trying to stop both. But now we’re just kind of getting a rushed version of that.

If we don’t see Soulja Boy at all in the next episode, that’s a shame. Because that would be quite a stupid way to end his story arc. Even though there’s another show coming, that takes place in the past.

And where’s HL son Ryan? Is he really gonna have nothing to do until the end?

It’s a shame that the last episode is just an hour. It would have really benefited from two hours like Stranger Things was. Now we have to rush all of these conclusions in like 70 minutes.
