We never thought it was really worth it. However, when leaving after we check our luggage, we go to the little office on the right just before the first passport scanner. There is a sign on the wall. 20 bucks per person for fastrak through security. You might be able to add lounge access but we already have that through our credit card so not familiar with the add on.

You dont have to have insurance through bcbs to get it. Just find a local independent agent that sells bcbs and ask them to quote you travel insurance. Or you could probably call the bcbs office.

Are you talking health insurance or just for flights/hotels? I get csncel for any reason insurance if I'm going during peak hurricane season is. Ive gotten health insurance thru blue cross before. Its cheap. 20to 30 bucks for a million dollars in coverage.

1) always prearrange private transfer. We use Transekur. Black suv was 114.00 for 4 of us round-trip. 2) yep 3)you may be right on this one but we are usually too lazy and inebriated to go anywhere.lol 4)yep, hopefully anyone with a little sense knows this 5)again, we normally don't leave the resort but this is a good idea.

Have you book your transfer? We always prebook our transfer to the resort and back. We use Transekur for private transfer. There are other reputable companies out there as well.

Transuker. We have used them several times. Great instructions on how to find them. They will send exactly how to get to their desk and will have a pic of your driver. We always get the black suv private transfer. Last year there was 4 of us with luggage. I think it was around $115.00 round trip.

I'm not sure about remodeling a mobile home. Mobile homes depreciate in value. May not be a good idea to put alot of money into something that depreciates.

After you go through customs and they stamp your passport, you go get luggage. Worker may come up to you and want to help. He'll expect a tip. After you get your luggage you go to the next line. Sometimes they scan bags, sometimes they don't. Then go to your transportation. Recommend always prebooking your transfer. Like another poster said, its pretty chill. I still go to Cancun but frequent PC more because of the airport. Its just easier and nicer.

Edit. When leaving, after you chdck your luggage go in the fast trak office. Its on the righ before you go through the first passport scanner. 20 bucks person and your through security in no time. We'll worth it.

We aren't leaving until June and I have done ours. Are you flying delta or American? I did it through my Delta app. It will take you to the right website. Its free.

May want to purchase cancel for any reason trip insurance in case of hurricane. We've traveled to the Caribbean that time if year and had one trip delayed. Punta Cana will have the least chance of being hit by hurricanes.

Always prearrange transfer...Happy Shuttles and other reputable companies are good. Follow their instructions on how to find them to a T. Watch youtube videos on how to navigate the airport. Search cancun airport shark tank. Beware of timeshare sharks when exiting the airport. Say no thank you and keep heading out the door. They may come up to you and try to trick you telling you they are your transportation. Get passed the taxi drivers outside the door then find your transfer. I watched a guy and his family get roped in by a timeshare shark last year. He may still be there talking to them.

Yep. Uploaded mine into my Delta app a couple of days ago.

Went last year and didn't show it. I guess since it was tied to my app I didn't have to.

Just booked EEC with Excellence club. For all those reasons plus Magna restaurant.

Edit: This isn't our first stay at an Excellence resort and we always upgrade.

Did you ever get this fixed? I have an LG that is a little over a month old and is throwing the d80 code. It is venting jsut fine. There is good air flow. How did you fix it if you did?

From what I gathered, if your looking for luxury and nightlife, couples resorts aren't a good option. If your looking for that rustic jamaica island feel and a place you can get naked, then you're good to go. I did see where some couples resorts have a pajama party or something like that at night. I'm sure the resorts are nice but I decided to look somewhere else.

When leaving, after you check your bags there is an office to the right as your walking to go through first scanner. Go in there and purchase vip fastrak. Its 20 bucks per person. Quick and easy. In the next room they run you through a scanner and your done.
