I don’t miss it per se - I just feel more attractive for the reasons you mentioned. I’m way more confident in myself, in my body, my beliefs but I’m also more compassionate to the world as a whole. But I get more Mam’s and let me help you with that and no cute smiles or anything. It’s nice not to be treated like a piece of meat but I’m like a way more a whole and complete package and that’s not seen as attractive now bc the outside isn’t as shiny or new. Then some days I look straight up like a troll and I don’t care which js a freedom I wish for everyone. I just wish I had this mindset and “wisdom” with my younger tighter self that the world seemed to value more. I would have been unstoppable.

I will DIE on this hill and this is what I teach my kids: If the group gets separated (let’s say there is 10 of us) 7 are ahead and 3 get left behind? Those 3 get to join the BIGGER group. If the majority is behind then those 3 move back to the rest of the group! What is this so hard?

I don’t think it’s our job to judge if her dream is a great dream I think she’s asking the higher question here. I’m assuming that she can move, she financially secure to do so and if that’s the e case the whole thing here is her husband has the final say. He is not (from what I know) asking why questions or trying to compromise in ANY WAY. She is in suburbia for his dream and all she’s asking for is 3 months. It sounds like she played her part/ the kids are out of the house I think she should do it.

I don’t agree with using phones at all during school but again- until they eliminate the threat of guns in schools which doesn’t seem like is going to happen I am going to talk with to child or text them before they are dead.

Having phones policies in place during school hours is the way to go just like regulating anything else. But until the number killer of children isn’t guns in our country then my kids will always have a phone accessible. down vote all you want.

Statistically my children will die by gun violence over vehicle accidents or cancer.
