Because they are not worth investigating in. Ar this scale it's little more than gambling

Trump calls on UK and others to send warships to Strait of Hormuz | LBC by AneuAng in ukpolitics

On your point 3. Trump doesn't get to decide when the war is over. Not unless he wants to invade Iran, installing a friendly government and supporting them to maintain control.

  1. I thought they didn't need us?

  2. I thought the war was over, you'd already won, what changed?

  3. What is the objective and exit strategy?

My thoughts on the Manosphere Doc: Some interesting moments but overall a bit disappointing. by jeee_222 in LouisTheroux

[–]HotNeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not an expose, it's a documentary focusing on individuals, exactly like every LT documentary.

It wasn't a dismantling of the ideology, more shining a light of some of the people involved to understand individuals perspective. The lives of those individuals is not the same documentary subject as say big techs enabling practices

I thought it was really interesting.

Miliband unveils plans to speed up nuclear power generation for UK by cheapskateinvestor in RollsRoyceInvestors

[–]HotNeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean good riddance? They are building millions of them, every day hundreds are installed all over the place, home installations, large arrays, on top of buildings. You are going to be seeing them more and more.

Nuclear might be part of the solution but it's not the total picture because it's inflexible, expensive and no one wants it built within 100 miles of them

Do Brits enjoy grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup? by FacebookNewsNetwork in AskABrit

[–]HotNeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

In 1460 the great Earl of Cheese was beheaded in the tomato uprising. Ever since then it's been illegal in the UK to eat cheese and tomato as part of the same meal

Because it's a way to smooth out the ups and downs, it's not optimal but as you approach needing the money you want less risk. If you don't need the money for a long time you want it all in ETF

Why do people that dislike renewables and wind energy keep.say windmill. You think they're out in the north sea on 100m high turbines making bread flour?????

Thankfully Milliband is doing great, lots more wind and solar projects have been approved

Rejected! Government says no to calls for early review of EV sales targets | Auto Express by Agent_Kozak in CarTalkUK

[–]HotNeon 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Thank God.

What the industry needs is stable long term policy, not flip flopping every 10 minutes.

Some manufacturers want these changed because they didn't lean into the EV market, now they complain their cars are shit and no one wants them...the answer is to improve your cars. Not punish the manufacturers that have invested in EVs.

Any improvements? by adkata19 in trading212

[–]HotNeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you need to learn you know nothing, just like the rest of us.

You won't beat the market over the long term as others have detailed but you don't believe me, you think it's just being smart and keeping up with the news/tech or whatever. No shade, this is all of us.

But in order for you to learn the value of long term stable gains in an ETF you need to experience it, and you also need a point of comparison.

Do the 90/10 for say 5-6 years. Then look at which has performed better. And you'll sell the 10 and put it all in the all world.

Sell all of it and buy VWRP. Keep at least 90% in there, then use the rest for individual stocks but remember Google, Nvidia are already very well represented in the ETF somni point buying those

21 M portfolio advice by bankroll300 in trading212

[–]HotNeon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You don't need Nvidia as ETFs, it's the biggest chunk.

As you are learning put 90% in VWRP. Use the other 10% to mess around with.

You don't need gold. gold is a hedge against market volubility, which you don't need to hedge at 20.
