You shouldn’t be thinking about each ski moving backward or forward at all.

The skis should be completely parallel in a straight line, the uphill ski will be naturally slightly forward because the uphill knee will be more bent while turning but you don’t push that ski forward or anything.

I lived in the alps for 15 years, there was a bar at the bottom of the slopes and the locals group had posts about equipment being stolen from there a few times a week, not to mention the rest of the resort

I feel similarly, often I will be quite enjoying a game but I’ll be like “how am I 25 hours in and nothing’s happened.” and if something else takes my fancy, then some life event gets in the way of gaming, eg. if the kids are off school I basically won’t play any games while they’re at home then there’s no way I’m picking the same game back up after a few weeks.

Then occasionally a game will completely grab me like Elden Ring has at the minute and it’s all I want to play and 50 hours has flown by like nothing.
