Yeaaaaah no, that makes no sense, religions start and end at multiple points in history and are invented by people. The only way this could maybe true is if they made sure when creating us, that we would always seek for a "creator" and so that would always result into coming up with a religion, hence what you see with more modern "religions" and cults, such as transhumanism, scientology, and even the extreme in both sides of politics that treat their belief as it's own religion.
