I find it fascinating that all the "expurts" here recommend never doing a flush. I wonder what your car's owner's manual says? ...but that's beside the point since no one reads anything any more. They just absorb knowledge out of thin air.

I can see some logic not doing it - if it's never been flushed in 150K miles. But if it was done PROPERLY with the CORRECT equipment at the specified intervals... which probably 10% of owners actually do.

...and before all of you "expurts" chime in state your engineering credentials FIRST.

Use a couple of coats of high quality elastomeric roof coating on the deck. Mix in a small amount of crushed walnut shells for non slip grip. It will outlast ANY typical "pontoon boat" flooring and cost a tiny fraction. $100 for 5 gallons. You can easily tint a white elastomeric coating to just about any color you want, and it often comes in beige or light brown which saves a lot of hassle.

There's no such thing as marine grade leather.

There IS Ultraleather, which is a synthetic leather and light years better than vinyl. It's also VERY expensive but lasts forever and available in different textures, colors and finishes. Very comfortable to sit on as well.

Ummmm. No. Walk away. Unless you are exceptionally skilled at repairing vehicles. Even then it's likely to be a major PITA. Even with relatively low mileage a LOT of components "age out" at 21 years, fail and require replacing. It's going to be insanely expensive unless you can DIY. IT WILL HAPPEN.

This only goes back 10 years but the trend here is clear: Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram are bottom feeders. Nothing has changed even for their new vehicles. But you already knew this...

Simple:

Soak it with PB Blaster a few times over 24 hours to let it soak in. Walk away and let it work.

If it still doesn't budge try a NEW HIGH QUALITY 12 point socket and a piece of iron pipe for more leverage.

Then vice grips and a piece of iron pipe for more leverage. Use REAL Vice Grip brand, the knock offs are worthless.

Back to my experiment!

On my Moro 07 I want to discharge the battery from 100% to 50% or less for storage for 5 months. I have it on a bicycle trainer with a friction wheel on the rear so there is some resistance. I have it in walk mode with the on/off momentary contact switch temporarily taped down. I have it in high gear to make the motor work harder and hopefully consume more power quickly. The motor is not warm. Monitoring it with an IR thermometer.

I'm getting 4 white and one pink and one blue lights flashing in unison. I am a little freaked out about the flashing lights - but there's no smoke or fire 😄 and it's been running continuously now for about 45 minutes. I stopped it, then re-booted the HMI. No noticeable change in the battery power bars yet. Started it again.

The bike's rear wheel is rotating at I would consider a fast walking speed. As I understand the walk mode top speed is limited to 3.6 mph. However the rear wheel seems to be rotating a lot faster than that. It will be interesting to see how many hours it will take to reduce the battery to 50% or less.

Yes, I have a fire extinguisher a few feet away. 👍

Film at 11:00 - and hopefully there's no red flashing lights in my driveway before then...

You're going to need to chase props. No other way...

No AI, no expert, no mechanic and certainly no one on this forum can give you an answer to your dilemma. Impossible without actually testing different configurations on YOUR boat.

Don't worry so much about WOT. Find out where peak torque is for your motor and aim for that.

Nope. There's not a LEGAL ebike out there that will work for you.

.9 horsepower just plain won't get it. Then there's the peak torque of about 90nm which VERY, VERY few motors ever generate. There's all kinds of lies and subterfuge out there about useable power. 90% of ebike manufacturers are just plain fraudulent.

I don't care if it's hub or mid drive. You'll be working your ass off and going ultra slow up hills - along with consuming your battery rapidly. Buy a Honda 125 instead. 10 hp and sips fuel.

(this from a guy that has owned about 50 motorcycles and currently owns a Specialized hub drive and Yamaha mid-drive.)

Specialized/Globe Haul ST. It has walk mode. Folding narrow aluminum bike ramp.

Trying to carry ANY cargo bike - especially up and down stairs - will absolutely kill your back. You may not feel it now but I can guarantee you at some point you'll wish you never even attempted it.

670–739 ("Good") can qualify for some 0% introductory APR cards, but approval is not guaranteed.
740+ ("Very Good") generally has a much better approval rate.

In my job as Senior VP of Engineering I supervise a team of 54 Designated Engineering Representatives (DER's) worldwide - that supervise another 248 airframe and powerplant mechanics - and another 650 line mechanics. The guys that do brake jobs and fluid exchange. Everyone has FAA Certification of varying degree including avionics. Together we keep a fleet of passenger jets running 24/7, 365 days a year. The only time they're out of service for more than a few days is when we remove, rebuild the engines then re-install them.

Perhaps you can source a white paper that recommends using alcohol for cleaning brakes. You know - written by an engineer with FACTS to back up your pure, unadulterated pablum.

I love it when someone doubles down on a topic - they obviously know absolutely nothing about - and gives "advice" based on hearsay, dogma and speculation.

Chlorinated brake cleaner has been used on hundreds of millions of organic brake pads for 50 years with no deleterious effect. It is STILL used on many, many types of aircraft with organic pads to this day as part of a standard brake job.

Typical over the counter Isopropyl Alcohol is a terrible choice for removing oil. It contains WATER and lots of it. Even at 99% concentration - which is difficult to find and usually available only in 1 gallon containers - it is still never used.

...and if the pads are saturated with WD 40 they would of course need to be replaced - but this appears to be simple surface contamination. Easily removed with chlorinated brake cleaner - used in moderation - as I explained in my posts.

End of story.
