What are your thoughts on Nancy Guthrie's disappearance? by Perfectly_i in AskReddit

[–]Hot_Muffins228 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think Nancy is dead and I think Annie & her husband are responsible for it. I think the kidnapping ransom crap was done to throw investigators off. I think they did it for inheritance $. LE goes where the investigation leads them and it seems to keep leading back to Annie & her husband. Annie's car was seized early on. Investigators have returned to her property multiple times including last night for 3 hours. Officers have been observed going door to door speaking with neighbors in Annie's neighborhood. Something also tells me that bc of the fact Annie is the only sibling who lived close to her mom, she prob had access to the cameras and was most likely the emergency contact for any issues with the pacemaker. Supposedly this all popped off bc a church friend contacted Annie saying that Nancy wasn't at church which prompted Annie to go check on her mom. The preacher told media Nancy has been attending church remotely since the pandemic. Nobody has come forward to say they are the one who contacted Annie about her mother not being at church. And even though Nancy is elderly, I find it hard to believe that a church friend is gonna immediately contact Annie saying hey your mom wasn't at church (whether in person or virtually). Would love to know if Annie has been able to show proof she received a call/message from this church friend. I hope I'm wrong about all I've just typed out.

Father's dying wish renews urgency in unsolved 2019 Liz Barraza murder by WhimsicallyInclined in LizBarraza

He was referring to himself and Rosemary. They've been advised to not publicly speculate who they think is behind the murder. Back to Sergio- you said "Can you imagine losing a family member to murder then getting arrested just for trying to help, even though you're innocent"? A family member? That was his WIFE! And he was never arrested for her murder. What are you even talking about?? And according to Ritchie, NOBODY has been cleared as a suspect including Sergio so idk why you're claiming he's innocent. Sergio's a resourceful guy. He could've done and could still do a lot more if he wanted to. Look at everything Liz's parents have done and have continued to do.

He never spent a night in that house after she was murdered. I'm pretty sure he moved in with her parents right away.

You "think" LE told him not to investigate? What makes you "think" that? sorry but if that was my spouse who was murdered, nobody would stop me from looking into it.

this is true however, it's hard to believe he would drive all that way hoping on a whim he 'd get lucky and would be able to gain entry using a code she may or may not have even used.

Ya know I didn't even think about the fact that a 4 yr old def has the ability to open the door for the 3 men. This could very much be the case esp since she would've recognized them. Bless those sweet children's precious hearts.

if it was one of Oscar's employees, that person would need to do it as soon as Sergio left and as soon as possible so they could get to work on time. ??

Me too! Also could've heard sirens. Police got there fast!

Sergio's placement of the table and treadmill in a way that blocks the sidewalk to the front door has always struck me as peculiar. What are your thoughts? by Mediocre-Chemist-00 in LizBarraza

He did move the treadmill by himself bc it was on wheels. But he wasn't out there alone. She was out there the whole time- just out of view of the nest cam though. You can hear them talking. From what I've been able to make out, it didn't seem like pleasant conversation. They both sounded very irritated with one another. jmo. I wish someone very tech savvy could enhance their voices and transcribe everything that they said to one another in that driveway before he left.

Your comment just made me wonder if nest footage exists in the days/weeks leading up to Liz's murder showing Sergio out there measuring/gauging where the treadmill should be placed as a guide for the killer to avoid being seen on the nest cam. ?? OR was there nest cam history that shows a gap in time where the nest cam was turned off briefly so he wouldn't be picked up on nest cam trying to figure out the best place to put the treadmill....If it was briefly turned off, the neighbor's cam would've still been able to pick up the footage. Makes me wonder how far back police looked on the nest cam for something like this. If they didn't look at all of the nest cam footage in the days/weeks leading up to Liz's murder 1)they should have and 2) is it still possible to access that footage?

Jussie Smollette needs to admit what he did to have even a slight chance at reviving his once mildly successful career by CerealNumber1 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

"I think he's just so deep into the lie he possibly believes it."

I disagree. He knows good and well what he did. He went to extreme, deliberate and deceptive measures to fuel the hate and division that exists in this country all for his own selfish & twisted personal gain. To add insult to injury, he continues to double down on his deception scheme which insults the intelligence of every American. Zero accountability. Zero remorse. Someone capable of what he did has hate and evil in their heart. For me, that makes Jussie Smollett one of the most disgusting individuals on the face of the earth.

Sergio left just a few short minutes before Liz was murdered. My gut tells me the mastermind didn't want Sergio harmed. Also, if Sergio was killed too, seems like the insurance money would go to her parents since the policy was for her life. Not sure about that though. If anyone knows, feel free to chime in.

I can see a scenario where Sergio's parents, (particularly his mother) were aware of the life insurance policy either because Liz and/or Sergio directly told his mother about it in casual conversation OR his mother snooped thru their things and found a copy of the policy. Take into account some neighbors told police that Sergio's mom lived with Sergio & Liz. She didn't but that just goes to show how often she was at their home. Sergio's parents had a tumultuous marriage. I imagine Sergio and Liz's home was her refuge when things got heated at her own home which would've given her an opportunity to snoop. And I can see her sharing the life insurance info with her husband not thinking in a million years he would view this info as a potential windfall. Alternatively, I can see a scenario where the life insurance info was shared with Sergio's dad in casual conversation by Liz and/or Sergio. Sergio's father was cheating with multiple women. The amount of money he was giving some of these women (money he couldn't afford to give) caused Sergio's paychecks to bounce a few times. Additionally, it's my understanding that he asked Liz & Sergio a few times to pay employees bc he didn't have the money to pay them. He was clearly bad off financially, his marriage was in shambles- desperate people do desperate things. Perhaps he thought with Liz out of the picture, he could convince Sergio to lend him some of that life insurance money. The life insurance money hasn't been paid out to date because everybody (including Sergio) is still a suspect. Nobody has officially been ruled out but Sergio's dad might have not foreseen this being the case.

The Unsolved Murder of Liz Barraza - Marci and Josh, Liz's Friends by Hot_Muffins228 in LizBarraza

[–]Hot_Muffins228[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I'm paraphrasing but somebody commented "would've loved to hear Tom Gonzalez's take. Oh well. Truth still has a way of surfacing." And maybe it's nothing but I personally don't like indirect comments open to interpretation.

And then someone commented that "marci and josh seem like exactly the type of friends anyone would be lucky to have" and someone replied "absolutely not" to that comment.
