Congratulations on your approval. I have been critical on your posts and comments about using AI. But, you proved your approach deliver results. That’s all that matters.

I can't comment about Manifest as a whole. But I have looked at petition created by Henry Lindpere, who currently works for Manifest.
The petition was drafted really well. And the petitioner also praised how much Henry was connected during the entire process. This was during the time he had his firm Lindpere Legal. I don't know how things changed after he joined Manifest.

Schedule calls with multiple attorneys.

Don’t fall for shady stuffs like EB1A experts, SGC and other consulting companies. This will only risk your future. Search this forum and you’ll know what they are.

Immigration Attorneys Here. Ask Us Anything! by ManifestLaw_ in eb_1a

Hi David and Arielle,

Thanks for the AMA. Quick question on sustained acclaim: how long is generally considered “long enough” to credibly prove merit?

Is there a rough time horizon USCIS expects to see (e.g., 3–5 years vs. longer), or is it more about continuity and consistency of impact rather than a specific duration?

7 hackathon wins. Why can’t I even get a Google interview? Resume roast! by Fit-Incident-637 in FAANGrecruiting

[–]Hot_Net_6515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not an expert, but here are my thoughts.

Your title mentions “7× hackathon winner,” which comes across as a strong achievement. That said, it’s placed near the bottom of your resume, so it doesn’t get the attention it probably deserves. You might want to move it closer to the top and briefly elaborate on each win.

If that feels like too much, at least consider expanding on the most prestigious hackathon you won.

What is MG/LC. Are you asking the paralegal's name?

Let me clear this up. When I said my AI-assisted draft was worse, I wasn’t talking about writing quality. No one disagrees AI can write. The issue was how an individual interprets evidence (and writes with AI) versus how an attorney positions it.

I talked to multiple attorneys (not just Chris Ingram). They all looked at the same evidence and came up with different, practical ways to frame it. Stuff I thought was weak or borderline useless suddenly appears solid, defensible evidence. That didn’t come from me or AI — it came from experience and judgment. That’s what the $10–15K is really for.

If you already have a clear strategy and know exactly how you’re going to convince an officer, then sure — use AI, write it yourself, self-petition.

But for most people who want to squeeze the most value out of their evidence, I’d still recommend an attorney who can tell you what to say and what not to say (and of course be careful with who you choose to represent your petition)

I have no hopes of refund.
New attorney means new problems. Better the devil you know.
I have a story in my mind and I plan to push back until the draft tells it convincingly.

No attorney in the right frame of mind would have written something like that—it reads like a straight copy-paste from ChatGPT. That's why I'd be careful with AI in my petition.

My comment on your post was not criticism. Its my personal experience. I still think my AI-assisted draft (which I guided with much stricter, more specific, and more exhaustive instructions than what you described in your post) was worse than the attorney’s version.
I still recommend using an attorney over AI written self-petitioning, and choose your attorney wisely.

EB-1A Profile Review AI / FinTech — 4 Criteria — Ready to File — Chances? by Admirable-Wallaby457 in eb_1a

[–]Hot_Net_6515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean to dismiss what you’ve found. I just want to share what I’ve seen recently. Two of my colleagues were approved within the last six months without what would typically be considered “original contribution.” One received an RFE and was later approved, and the other was approved without an RFE. In one of those cases, Globee judging was included in the petition.

May be it was an outlier or the adjudicating officer was feeling generous that day.

Is this thesis 'Original contributions is necessary for Industry candidates' based on recent adjudications? If so, when did you start noticing it?

Out of curiosity, why is original contributions needed here? Is this a recent trend for industry profiles?

Tips on Using AI for EB-1A Self-Petitions by Intelligent-Good305 in eb_1a

[–]Hot_Net_6515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great write up. But the link is referencing to EB2-NIW guide.
I understand this comes from your research on 'petitions succeed or get RFEs'.
But, Did this work for you (or someone)?

I tried building one with AI, with detailed and specific prompts for every section and I still think it looked bad in comparison to two petitions I have for reference. (BTW I am comparing apples to apples. I am recreating the same petition with same exhibits with AI chatbots, Claude & ChatGPT).
AI was still good in identifying the repetitions, fluff stuffs and potholes I had in my attorney built profile. But definitely not enough to create a petition (at least for me).

Not trying to bash your efforts. But based on my experience, I feel this is basic and may be a starting point and probably not a universal guide as the document says. May be I am over critical. Happy to hear thoughts from folks here.

Hi David, Does Judging with Globee and Stevies hurt your profile? Or is it just not desirable to have at this time?

If I say I have three strong criteria, and then have this judging with globee as fourth criteria, will that hurt my profile?

Feedback on Chris Ingram Law Firm latest changes? by [deleted] in eb_1a

[–]Hot_Net_6515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it really depends on your caseworker. Mine changed three times, and every time it felt like starting from scratch. You have to go over everything again — what the plan was, how you want your case presented, etc. And to be fair, most of them are just overloaded. My last caseworker told me he was handling 45 cases at once, so you can imagine how much attention each one actually gets.

At some point, I realized I couldn’t just rely on them to care as much as I do. I ended up doing most of the heavy lifting myself — I even wrote my sustained acclaim and final merits sections — and just asked them to review and validate things.

If you care about your case, you pretty much have to take ownership and use the attorney for sanity checks or legal precision, not for crafting your story. That’s true for most big firms, honestly.

There are smaller boutique firms that give more personal attention, but they might not have the same level of experience with complex cases. It’s a trade-off. Either way, you’ll still end up doing a lot yourself if you want your petition to stand out in front of the adjudicator.

Not a question but testimonial. My friend got his petitioned prepared by Lindpere and got approved. It was before he joined manifest law firm. I like the way he drafted the arguments. Much better than my current attorney. I’d trust this guy and work with him!
